The food was excellent. The Zesty Thai Wings were absolutely fabulous, and the Build Your Own Burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. You can really tell care goes into the food here.
The atmosphere inside is something truly special for Front Royal. The space is very open with tall ceilings, giving it a unique, inviting feel that sets it apart from other local spots.
What really stood out to us is the strong sense of community. Brick House hosts tons of events that include everyone, even kids, which makes it feel like more than just a restaurant. It’s a place where the community comes together.
Our server, Chris, was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and offered great food suggestions, which made the experience even better.
We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking Brick House Bar & Grill out if you haven’t already!
I also got their Dill Delights (fried pickles) as an appetizer, and those were solid — flavorful and crispy. And of course, I couldn’t pass up the funnel cake fries for dessert. Even though I didn’t receive my dipping sauce, the fries were so good on their own I didn’t even miss it.
Service was good overall. The person who took my order (a newer employee) was friendly and efficient, which helped make the experience better.
As an Illinois native, I’ve eaten in my share of great places, and Brick House Bar & Grill now ranks among my top 5 in Front Royal. I’m actually getting them again for dinner tonight. Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for tasty grub.
The staff is inviting and friendly with great service. The bartender must be a bit new as we ordered an Irish coffee and it came with no whip cream and there was a $2 upcharge for Jameson’s whiskey? Didn’t order a specific whiskey and Jameson’s is a $30 whiskey. An Irish Coffee price should just be priced accordingly. Just found it odd.
The Fish n Chips were great and my burger was really good. The onion rings were heavy and greasy, I think they were done well before the other items as they were just warm when served. Too bad, this looked like the kinda place that would have fantastic onion rings.
The burger fixings were fresh and cooked exactly as ordered, so that was a real treat.
I suspect this place is a blast watching sports and we’ll certainly be back.
Oh the restrooms are clean too. Definitely coming back.
It was both taco Tuesday and karaoke night, and we appreciated that they could accommodate our party with a booth in the corner, where it would be easy for our conversation over dinner.
Everyone said try the smothered chicken and I did With a side of broccoli. The chicken was cooked perfectly— Moist and with the right degree of firmness—smothered in a creamy mushroom and bacon cream sauce on a bed of garlic, mashed potatoes.
Another in our party had a burger and ordered it medium rare— And it actually arrived cooked to the right degree, and made from beef, whose flavor was good enough to stand up to being eaten, medium rare
The firecracker shrimp appetizer was also really enjoyable It had the right level of breading and spice me — I can’t tolerate flaming hot Cheetos so if you like them, you’ll wanna order extra spice on the shrimp
Boneless Wings: When I think of boneless wings at a Bar & Grill, I expect more than just a chicken breast light tossed in some flour and thrown in some sauce. They were juicy, so credit there. Total Score: 3/10
Catfish Sandwich: The fish was about as thick as a sheet of notebook paper and had zero taste. The one thing that would have made the sandwich (garlic aioli) was not longer carried. Total Score: 1/10.
Fried Pickles: A decent fired pickle with a great crunch, however, the fryer was clearly set too high. The outside was nice, but the inside was raw and doughy. Total Score: 4/10.
