This was a pretty decent restaurant with good service. The cut of meat was not what I was expecting. Although the Steak was cooked to the right temperatur. However, it was a little tough. The Vegetables were very good and the Bread was excellent. The Appetizer was perfectly portioned.

I came to Salvidia’s for the 1st time today. I loved it. Nicole and the staff were the best. The were the most welcoming and attentive. She suggested a Wine and Salmon meal that I enjoyed. The chimichurri and the caprese was so fresh, it felt like it was straight out of a garden in the back. The atmosphere was cozy and warm with the dim lights and decor. I will be back very soon and highly suggest it

Having lived in Argentina for 10 + years I can say having a Uruguayan chivito here in Houston that tastes exactly like the ones you eat in Colonia or Montevideo is like a warm hug from a place you miss so dearly. The bread is fabulous, meat perfection and fries amazing. Staff is lovely and service is tops! The milanesa and spinach ravioli were also hits with my kids! The chorizo is very good and not greasy at all. Will for sure be back!

A hidden gem.
If you want Brazilian food but without the $$ , then you want to come here. Get your family the “parillada de bifes”, we ordered 2 and it fed 5 of us , with some left over.
Empanadas were delicious, spinach and cheese and ground beef – yummy !
Celebrated my mom’s birthday and they were kind enough to allow us to bring in a cake and they even provided a candle.
It’s a family own shop , definitely recommend to stop by for a date night or celebrate.
My only recommendation for the restaurant is to have create an ambiance, when we walked in it was very quiet and a little awkward. After a glass of wine it was good but still , I think ambience is important in a restaurant

Excellent place to eat in West Houston! Family owned and you can tell. The food is fantastically grilled and perfectly cooked to medium rare for me. I had the skirt steak and salmon fillet the first time, and then I ordered the platter which came with flank steak, beef short rib, sausage, and chicken. Everything tasted amazing! I even spoke with the owner (I think) about the Uruguayan jerseys he had displayed with Suarez, Cavanni, and even Forlan who actually visited the restaurant.

Fantastic Food, Wonderful atmosphere, they got our Steak Temperature wrong and I ordered the Filet and my wife the flank Steak. We switched ours and I’m not taking a star off, because it was probably the best skirt Steak I’ve ever had! The Bus Boy was amazing helping us out quite a bit because the Servers seemed a little absent. But, also not taking away a star because we were still well served overall. The Decoration for Christmas was awesome and the general ambiance amazing. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Ventured outside my comfort zip code zone and I’m so glad I did! This restaurant was fantastic! Food was very flavorful and presented so clean…no frills just delicious meat, grilled veggies and oh my they’re roasted potatoes yummy . We went with a group of 7 and we all had something different and shared…Milanese was juicy, steaks were cooked to perfection, and pasta was tasty. Went on a Saturday and they had a gentleman singing and he was pretty good. Great ambiance.
