I have to say this is a nice and clean restaurant and the staff here is really friendly and super nice. But first, the seafood maybe a little pricey for its flavor and texture. But the seafood is fresh and have enough lbs.
But the things I really don’t like is its seafood boiler flavor. The house special sauce is not good enough and I ordered an extra cup of sauce of extra hot and it is not thick ones, it is like water soup, so it would be hard for me to dip the seafood into the sauce. The flavor is not strong and I think it could be improved
But I believe they have great fried foods because all the other great comments.

This place just opened up a couple weeks ago. I happened to Google it because I love seafood. I have to drive pretty much to the south end to get my seafood boil or just make my own. I was happy to know a place opened up a little closer to home. I came here just a few days ago for my birthday and I’ll say I loved the inside of the restaurant. It looks like your under the sea. They did real good with that. Customer service was amazing! The girl whole took my order gave me a Thai Iced tea for my day. The seafood was fresh and they give you a lot!!! I like my seafood boils spicy and medium spicy at this place is good enough. Though I didn’t really care too much for the house sauce I do plan to return to try their other sauces and because the customer service was so good. Thank you!

In the area with my family for a travel assignment. Came once shortly after opening, and now we’re regulars. The owner, Linda, is so welcoming and remembered us before we’d even been on the island a few weeks. I love the food here! We’ve been working our way through the flavors, but our favorite is the Cajun or House Special Dugeness Crab pot. Not on the menu, but we really enjoy dipping some edamame in the Cajun flavor. I’d recommend giving them a try if you haven’t already.

Tried Happy boil for the first time and was blown away. The seafood are super fresh and the sauce/broth is super delicious. The fried baskets are great too! Overall, two thumbs up.

Just tried out this place and I just love it! The hostess/waitress was so nice. They have lots of cute books for the kids as well as a couple of toys, high chairs, and boosters. So it’s super kid friendly.
I ordered the house salad, and oh my gosh I can’t tell you the last time I really had a good house salad. Usually it’s a few pieces of iceberg lettuce with canned dressing. This was a huge bowl of mixed greens, with homemade ginger carrot dressing that was so good and crispy croutons.
My friend had the french fries with Cajun seasoning and I think I’ll order that next time. My fries were planning also great, but the Cajun seasoning gave an extra kick. The fried shrimp and tilapia were both terrific. Big hearty shrimp and yummy thick breading that was clearly right out of the pan. The tilapia was pounded flat and had a great flavor to it.
Also I just plain love the title. Happy seafood! I ate the seafood and I was very happy!

Went on their grand opening weekend. Ate delicious seafood boil with generous portions of crab and shrimp. Recommend picking the house special sauce. Also enjoyed seafood fried rice with shrimp, scallops, and calamari. Worth checking out, but be prepared to get your hands dirty.

Overall great restaurant, the owner is working hard to gain your business, and the boils are great. If you like seafood and live on MI, you need to support this restaurant.
The new seafood boil restaurant may not have the best curb appeal and location next to the bar, but the food is good. I’ve had quite a few boils, and have to say they far exceeded my expectations. They cooked the seafood better than places twice as expensive. Too many places in Seattle and Bellevue cook everything together and overcook shrimp.
The only recommendation I’d make is to order extra potatoes and corn with your boil. They are heavy on the seafood and light on the fillers.

I went to this restaurant on its first day open. I was disappointed with the service I received.
I ordered the boiled seafood with different flavors. The seafood is fresh. But I can’t tell the difference between flavors. Also, it is a bit pricy compared to the other similar boiled seafood restaurant.
The owner is a bit defensive. When I asked for making the fried rice with brown rice, I was asked to pay an additional fee which is fine for me. The owner kept emphasizing the restaurant gave more than I paid for. And when I noticed some sides (potato, corns) were missing, the owner emphasized again the food they offered was way more than expected.

The food is delicious. Five of us shared several dishes and appetizers. All were a delight. The chef is a master at deep frying, light and crispy and cooked perfectly. The quinoa shrimp was my favorite, but the sweet potato fries are a close second. Then again, the cheese wontons are right up there. We’ll be back!

Really disappointed. Very slow. Fish and chips was awful. Tilapia no cod or halibut available. Fries limp and the batter on the fish was soft not crisp.
Clam chowder was terrible, didn’t see anything that looked or tasted like a clam. Just a bland white sauce with some type of lumps in it.
Nice people but I don’t think they know much about fish and chips I hope it improves and they make a go of it.
