Crispy Pork Gang Thai Restaurant (Hollywood) Reviews – Grubhub
Reviews
Crispy Pork Gang is a hidden gem with a pretty venue and great location. Prices are good, and the food taste is on point.
The standout for me was the Beef Pad Thai (item #23) – flavors were spot on. Service was fast, and parking was a breeze, making it a convenient spot.
However, finding a piece of eggshell in my pad Thai was a bummer. One mistake, but overall food quality was solid.
Pros:
– Delicious food with good prices
– Pretty venue & great location
– Fast service & easy parking
Cons:
– Foreign object in food (eggshell in Pad Thai)
I’d go back for the flavors alone.
We were in the area from a town north of here for a quick bite to eat that wasn’t a big crowded restaurant. The menu has a lot of variety and a lot to choose from. The portion sizes are big. You definitely have to come try out this.
The interior of the restaurant is not fancy. Don’t come here expecting a great ambience. But don’t be fooled!! You will come back.
Walked into Crispy Pork Gang & Grill on a whim and left wondering where this place has been all my life. The star of the show? That glorious, golden, crackly-skinned pork — crispy enough to hear across the table, juicy enough to haunt your dreams. It’s not just a dish, it’s a moment.
I paired it with the spicy basil fried rice, which hit all the right notes — smoky, savory, a little spicy, and packed with that perfect wok-charred flavor. The papaya salad was bright and punchy, like a citrusy slap in the best way possible.
Service was quick, efficient, and refreshingly no-frills. This place isn’t trying to be fancy — it’s just really, really good at what it does. Feels like the kind of spot chefs sneak off to on their day off.
If you’re into flavor bombs, crispy textures, and food that feels alive — skip the trendy stuff and pull up here. Your taste buds will thank you.
I paid $18 for rice and everything was yesterday’s food. I told the management, they refused.
Two pieces of pork. 2 shrimps, a lot of rotten chicken and rice that had been heated 10 times.
No supervision. Maybe it’s this poisoning, I don’t know.
I got the Pad Thai, Papaya Salad, Yellow Curry, and Tom Yum. Everything was flavorful and well balanced. The Pad Thai was exactly how I like it not too sweet or oily. The Papaya Salad had that perfect mix of freshness and spice. The Yellow Curry was rich and comforting and the Tom Yum had a great kick without being overwhelming.
Loved the experience overall and I’d definitely go back.
Place is 24 HOURS!!
Lots of seating but not parking.
Food is served fresh and fast.
Price: The noodles were pretty affordable, but the stir-fried morning glory with crispy pork was about $20, which felt a bit pricey
Service: Great! I couldn’t finish my food, and the staff asked if it wasn’t tasty or if it was too salty. I told her I was just full . You could really tell they cared.
Parking: Valet parking, starting at $3.
