Ultimate Luxury Vibe & Hidden Gem in Shreveport! Must Visit for Date Night/Girls’ Night!
This establishment is an absolute hidden gem in Shreveport and a must-visit for any special occasion or just a luxurious night out!
The ambiance and decor are gorgeous—truly a whole vibe with every detail perfectly executed, making it a fantastic choice for a date night or a night with the girls.
The food was excellent, especially the select cut meats. The lamb chops were incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. Don’t skip the decadent dessert or the never-ending, fresh salad area!
What truly made the experience exceed all expectations was the service. Our waiter, Derek, was phenomenal and made our night truly special.
Shreveport, please support this amazing local establishment. Go and experience it!

Well I must say Sonora Prime was a delight I had my first Brazilian restaurant in Dallas which would say that I set the bar pretty high to compare it to something that’s in Shreveport but yet and still it was an amazing experience you might want to tell them the way that you want your Meats cooked when they are delivered to you. We let them know that we want a medium well cuts. we came in for both the lunch time experience which had a lot of the undervalued cuts and the dinner time experience we had where we got to have filet mignon and ribeye cuts also added to the dinner experience. Overall it was a delight and we had amazing servers the first time they took a long time at dinner to bring the actual meats but once they got going they didn’t stop. And I must add the salad bar is top tier!

Sonora Prime is an outstanding Brazilian restaurant here in Shreveport! All 15 of the meats were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, each one better than the last. The hot sides bar was also excellent, with a great variety to complement the meal. On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, an amazing dining experience—highly recommended!

So I’ve been to this restaurant twice now — once for my husband’s birthday and again for mine. It reminds me a lot of “Texas de Brazil.”

The first time (on a Tuesday) was amazing! The place is beautiful inside, I honestly felt like I left Shreveport for a bit. It wasn’t crowded at all, and our server was on point — super attentive and kind. The second I thought about needing a refill, he was already there. They even brought out a free slice of cake for my husband’s birthday . Most of the meats were really good — the lamb was my favorite, super tender. A few of the sirloin cuts were a little tough, but nothing too bad.

The second visit (on a Thursday, for my birthday ) was different. It was busier, and our server wasn’t as friendly — just kind of “meh.” The meats were okay, but some needed more seasoning and a couple were tougher than I’d like.

Overall though, I really do like this spot. Both times were still enjoyable, and the experience as a whole makes it worth it. I’d definitely go back. Even with the small stuff, I’d still give them 5 stars .

I didn’t get enough pictures because we were eating the entire time. It was so good and we will be back. Shrimp, chicken, steak, pork, pineapple, sausage etc etc. One of the coolest experiences. I would suggest going right before supper rush, 4-5pm. Once people start getting there, the food circulation starts slowing down. Buffet of salad, and sides with dipping sauces to choose from.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and has an upscale feel as soon as you walk in. The staff was welcoming and very attentive, which was one of the few positives about our visit. We were greeted and seated quickly, and within a minute or two our waitress took our drink orders.

The salad bar had a nice variety of fresh items for making a salad, along with a few sides like Brussels sprouts, rice, mashed potatoes and a few fruits like grapes, watermelon and cantalope. The salads were pretty good, which gave us hope for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, that’s where things started to go downhill.

When the bread, butter, and onion rings were brought out, the bread was hard and lacked any sponginess, and the onion rings were cold. Once the meats started coming around, the quality was disappointing. Most of the meats looked and tasted like leftovers from the day before—barely warm, overcooked, and in many cases nearly burnt. Out of roughly 15 different types of meat, only three stood out as decent: the bacon-wrapped chicken, shrimp, and bacon-wrapped pork. Everything else was dry, overdone, and unappetizing.

For two people, the bill came to over $120. Drinks are not included in the $50 per person price—Cokes are $4 and draft beers are $5 and if you choose to indulge in desert it will only cost you $9 per desert. This was our second visit; the first was shortly after the restaurant opened. We assumed the initial issues were just growing pains, so we decided to give it another try after several months. Unfortunately, this experience was even worse than the first.

Based on both visits, we will not be returning to Sonora Prime. For the price, the food quality simply does not match the upscale setting or attentive service.

We took our niece for her 16th birthday! We went at lunch time which much to our surprise was half off. We had a great time! Our first time to ever experience a Brazilian restaurant and it was great! The food was amazing and our server, Brett, was the best! She took amazing care of us as did all the staff!

All the food here was superb. It’s a little pricey (25 bucks salad bar only, 50 per for full experience with unlimited meats), but everything is ate was outstanding. Already planning to go back. This was an amazing date night

So glad to finally have a restaurant like this here locally. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Everything we ordered was delicious. It’s such a great addition to our community and definitely worth the visit. I’m looking forward to coming back.

I’ll start this off saying the front of house were amazing. Super nice waitress that took care of us and everyone was nice. The atmosphere was really cozy and beautiful, this place looks classy. The salad bar was great, everything was fresh…but this is where the nice ended. First of all, I had to flag down my waitress after about 10 minutes of putting our green card up on our table, because none of the people bringing meat around were coming to our table.

Once we did get attended to, the steak had ZERO flavor, it was terrible quality meats, and was just plain badly cooked. This kitchen has absolutely no clue how to cook a steak. I’ve eaten at so many Brazilian steakhouses in Dallas, I know the kind of quality they can produce, especially for the price tag. This restaurant is charging Dallas prices for Shreveport quality. After complaining to our waitress about the meat, the manager brought us out a plate of three piles of Picanha slathered in some kind of green sauce, another covered in Parmesan cheese…I took one bite and told the waitress to bring us our check. My expectations were lower because I know I can’t hold a Shreveport business to the same quality as one in Dallas, but this wasn’t even in the same ball park. No way coming back to this place. A chain restaurant steakhouse does better steaks for a fraction of the price.
