I’ve eaten here once but I gotta say, it was pretty good for a good price. And the server was very nice. I can’t remember her name but if I went back I would remember her if I seen her face. I ended up choosing the chicken strips, mash potatoes , green beans , and since I was there for breakfast, I got a biscuit and gravy on the side to dip my chicken strips in. It was so good. My brother got the BLT and he said it was good. And my nephew an egg and a pancake. The pancake was a good size and he loved it. I think everyone should go try it. I love little hometown dinners. They are always the best.

I just found this diner last week and it’s marvelous! All the staff are so friendly ☺. I can’t wait to try the breakfast buffet on the weekend. It’s well worth the short time from Louisville! Delicious!

Horrible experience. It was busy when we arrived and were told a twenty minute wait, which was pretty accurate. After sitting, we waited quite a while before a server appeared. We placed our order and then the real waiting began. After an hour, we finally got part of our food. No utensils or napkins had arrived yet either. We had to ask for those. Another ten minutes and rest of our food came. Hamburger was burned so bad it was inedible. Pancakes were rubbery and tasteless. The club sandwich was fine, but that’s it. Maybe we came in a bad night, but we won’t bother trying again.

Most everything I’ve tried here is good, however the quality of the food varies some depending on who is working in the kitchen. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Pleasant family-friendly atmosphere.

Something about that fried green tomato BLT that just won my heart. We are thrilled to have a clean, smoke free diner here in Mount Washington. Can’t wait to go back for breakfast.
