I ordered the gyro and I was a bit disappointed. My gyro was drowned in white sauce…and I’m thinking that it was to hide the fact that there was barely any protein in the gyro. When I finally did find a piece of meat, it was unseasoned—-not the usually savory lamb gyro taste. The white sauce was just white sauce. I will try to order something else next time.

One of my absolute favorite places to order food from. I’ve ordered a few different items and I’ve yet to be disappointed. My go to is the fish over rice with white sauce which also comes with a side salad and fries. So delicious. I’m sensitive to spicy foods and was worried the food would be too much for me but it wasn’t. The portions are wonderful especially for the price. Would definitely recommend.

We recently visited Halal Minxhies after always stopping to get gas next door and being curios. Curiosity got the best of me and we finally be tired in after a long day!
We ordered their fish sandwich, mixed grill platter, wings and hummus with pita.
My fav was def the mixed grill platter, it’s beautiful but the meat was SO tender which is hard to come by with the cubed cut but very much appreciated! We also liked their hearty wings – a meal unto themselves. The fish sandwich was ok, fish was good quality but it could’ve used some sort of sauce or aioli. Surprisingly I didnt like their hummus and pita. The pita was tough and didn’t taste fresh and the hummus had an unappealing flavor.
The good news is I’d go back and try their palates and gyros again along with those crispy fries!

When this place opened it was great, the portion were generous in all aspects.
Months later they have pulled back quite a bit. Fries for combo became tiny, and on top of that they really started skimping on protein in the Gryos. And it wasn’t a one off situation, it’s been a few meals now that the protein (mostly lamb) has gotten less and less. Take a look at my photo, I had to take a fork and dig out the meat. Meanwhile it used to be to be oozing meat and I would have a nice clean up treat after finishing my gyro.
I think I’m tapping out and will no longer return.

The lamb over rice is absolutely delicious—the meat is perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the rice has just the right touch of spices that makes it addictive. I also tried the falafel balls, and they were a pleasant surprise: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavor.

Had the mixed combo platter (lamb & chicken), lamb was great but the rice flavor was more South Asian/Desi and my expectation was it to be more Middle Eastern. Also had the Philly cheeses steak and tenders and both were juicy and flavorful.
