Reviews
Good:
– Really solid garlic glass noodles with shrimp – not spicy, but great flavoring and tasty noodles with just enough sauce!
– The soy milk they give out here is really good if you need something to cool the spiciness away
– The spicy noodles are tasty – chewy noodles
– The sour and spicy fish soup was really good as well – so soft and tender
– The boiled spinach was good in comparison to all of the spicy dishes
– Lotus root and beef was tasty but spicy – the beef was so tender
Bad:
– Takes some time for the food to come out
– The place is super casual ambiance wise, you have to be used to Chinese restaurants and speaking Chinese to have the best experience
Overall would come again, good authentic Chinese food.
We shared the salt and pepper tofu, Sichuan style twice cooked pork bacon, spicy garlic eggplant, crispy noodle chicken and pan fried chive turnover.
Everything was super fresh and steaming hot. The tofu fried to perfection and soft & silky inside.
We agreed to try item we had never had before and the twice cooked pork bacon and crispy noodle chicken were two of those items. The pork was very flavorful with the perfect heat level, and the crispy noodles under the layer of delicious chicken, mushrooms and fresh Vegis lent the perfect texture. The chive turnover was a fun dish.
Our server, and everyone at the was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.
Two things to know, parking can be a challenge as it is a busy area (there are multiple restaurants and shops in the complex, plus Ranch 99) and if you pay in cash, you get a free mini ice cream.
The staff gaslighted me and said they made a 2nd version of the discount card to clarify that but would not honor my old one that is clearly their mistake. Don’t dine-in feeling guilty so that you shouldn’t leave. Don’t bother with that discount card BS. They don’t even feel bad for their mistakes.
The service was great! The music choice didn’t really fit the atmosphere, but it didn’t take away from the quality of the food.
Try the cold cut appetizer, the fried fish with the mushrooms, the string beans, the fried chicken, the beef in the soup.
