Was extra hungry so I decided to go for a double cheeseburger with potato wedges. It wouldn’t fit in the small brown paper bag they use for burgers, it was big. Fully dressed and a meal by itself. Service was friendly even though they were swamped. Keep up the good work, I’ll be back for sure.

Went to Erwinville location and waitress had to ask me 3 times about my order and it wasn’t but a couple of items! The crawfish pie taste like pure dough and like it had been cooked several days earlier. Cracklin also very dry!

Found this place while driving to Mount Hermon to look at a house. 3pm on a Saturday and it was packed. Boudin balls with or without pepper jack were excellent. Cracklins were top notch and the beef jerky was tender, tasty and had intense smoke. I’ve already been back for more. Got the frozen seafood boudin and it was great.

Busy because of the location but not good. The roast beef poboy was extremely salty like to the point it felt like a prank. The burger was okay but for both to be a little over $30 I felt it was overpriced for the quality. Also ordered two sides of waffle fries and only recieved one. The banana pudding was surprisingly very good as I do not favor sweets.

The best chicken cracklins and boudin balls you will ever find. My favorites are the pepper jack and the jalapeño and cheese boudin balls with a hand full of chicken cracklins.

Best meat options north of Covington for cuts, prepared meat and fresh made food. Meat pie is creamy, delicious with soft flaky crust and not cooked to death. Cream cheese fried Boudin with jalapeño my goodness. I’m coming back.
A bit too much sugar in the seasoning for the fried pork skins.
Easy access from 16 and 10 minutes from Franklinton. Plenty of parking and easy to pull along hauling a trailer or rv.

Extremely disappointed, ordered boudin balls and chicken cracklings, the chicken cracklings had no crunch and was just a bunch of small chicken meat pieces.. the boudin balls didn’t have enough rice for me & turned out to be a mushy mess, the outside was soggy as well.

If you’re looking for fresh meat, this is the place to go. They also have Louisiana watermelons at reasonable prices I go for the Boudin. I love the links as well as the balls they’re about three dollars each. They also sell them in the frozen department so you can take them home and fry them and have them whenever

Great tasting food from a small country meat market. The boudin balls are full of deliciousness bite after bite. The andouille sausage made my home cooked Camellia Red Beans the best I’ve ever cooked.
The breakfast sausage was a bit salty but had the heat Louisiana is known for
