It’s a good Mexican restaurant with good service, even with limited interaction when picking up a to-go order.
Chips and salsa are great, I appreciate that they include them even in takeout orders.
I wasn’t a fan of the horchata, it wasn’t smooth, very watery for the most part but then lots of gritty sediment at the bottom. This should ideally be strained out so you aren’t drinking the pulpy sand.
Tacos were good, I’ve had better but also had a lot worse.
Beans and rice were also good, maybe a little bland.
Overall it’s a good place, I would go back another time and try other menu items.
Parking however is awful when they’re busy, they have some space behind the building but it’s very tight and only had a one way alley space to get back there, it’s terrible trying to get in and out with other people trying to do the same in opposite directions.

I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about! The food was great. The cheese dip was nice and thick. Everything was hot and flavorful. Service was top notch. Never had to wait for a drink and anything I asked for was right there. The building was nice and inviting. Prices were very fair. Definitely my new favorite Mexican restaurant in this area

Very colorful restaurant atmosphere with great service!! We had the corn dip for an appetizer and it had lots of flavor (and corn)!! I had a HUGE plate of ceviche – yummmm! I couldn’t eat it all and took lots home. My husbunny had pollo ala mexicana (chicken with grilled mushrooms, peppers, and onions). He couldn’t eat all of his either. We didn’t try the margaritas, but watching them come from the bar, they looked very popular. If you’re passing through Beckley, WV, this is definitely a stop!!

This is my favorite restaurant in Beckley not only are they the best Mexican but best all round best place to eat!
The food is outstanding and always fresh. They always get it perfect even with my large family and custom orders. The servers are always friendly efficient and helpful plus entertain my kids with teaching some Spanish words. I could eat in or pick up food from here every single day. It is so delicious with so many choices! I also love what they do for the community!

We were passing by and stopped here for a quick bite and really enjoyed the food. They have a separate vegetarian section and we ordered choices from there. And we customized it a bit and they were able to accommodate..chips and salsa was good too. We ordered veggie fajita, and a burrito option and another taco option. Everything came out quickly. Our server was nice too. The atmosphere news great too. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking outside.

I had the enchilada Suprema and it was great. More than I could eat in one setting and a bag full of chips.
I was staying close by, so I ordered by phone and walked over to get it.
It was estimated at about 15 minutes, they were busy, but it was ready when I got there.
I would have loved to have eaten there, but I had a small dog with me.
It looks like a fun atmosphere and the staff circled and sang for a guest. I’m assuming it was a birthday.
Definitely recommend it.

We were passing through and found this restaurant online, close to our hotel. I ordered online and went for pick-up. When I pulled in, the place was packed. This was a weekday, so that was surprising. So I thought, this is gonna be good. They did not disappoint. Me and my wife ordered a chicken fajita and a chips with salsa to share. I also ordered one crunchy taco and a side of sour cream. Not only was it only $20, it was way more than we could eat. Definitely recommend.

The decor is leaned into heavily, but they should spend more of their focus on the food and the service. Both are very dated. The meat they use is low quality, so you’d think they’d spice it up or at least add flavor. If it was our waiter’s first day, I wouldn’t be surprised. I was hoping for better

El Bandido was fabulous for dinner with my partner this weekend — it was our favorite meal of our trip, and we’re considering going back for brunch before driving home tomorrow. We ordered the cheese dip, the Arroz con Queso (AC) Vegetarian and Burrito Texana — both were fantastic. The service was polite, friendly, and quick!! Our meals came out in minutes. The chips were perfect and the salsa and cheese dips were delicious. I would happily recommend and we hope to dine again when we come back in the future. Thank you, El Bandido!!!
