I really loved the menu layout it’s clearly meant for ordering multiple dishes and enjoying a night of eating, drinking, and good conversation. Our server, Haley, was incredible and made us feel so welcome, and she made me feel extra special for my birthday dinner. Some favorites were the sourdough focaccia, the ribeye bites (so freaking good!), and of course my complimentary cheesecake mousse!
I do wish there had been live music that night, but even without it, the experience was awesome. We’ll definitely be back!
We stayed for a bit (probably 2.5 hours) and Tate never let our waters go empty once. He seemed to read our minds and genuinely made our dinner such a comfortable and happy experience. Thank you RH team!! <3 Definitely our happy place.
Scottie was so hospitable, and Jacoda was also amazing (bartender). It was my birthday dinner and they made it feel so special for my husband and myself! We ordered so much off the menu. It is a little bit more pricy, but in my opinion, the food is worth it!
We’ve been told people have had mixed reviews, dining here shortly after it opened. But definitely give it a try again if you tried it once before and didn’t have a great experience! Seems like they made some improvements from when they first opened!
My two stars for service is largely due to where we were seated. We were sat at a small bistro table next to the front door where we had to share a bench seat. Most of the other small bistro tables were at a bench with another chair on the other side, which I would have been happy with. Two people sitting next to each other at a tiny bistro table was odd—an awkward set up for anything other than enjoying a drink. I was disappointed since it wasn’t crowded and there were at least three other open tables much more conducive to dining.
My biggest issue with the table was that the table’s location next to the door was unpleasantly cold and drafty (high today in Waco was in the 40s). The hostess even commented how cold it was at that table when she sat us. Perhaps there were reservations for the empty tables but in the hour we were there only one other couple came in to dine.
Service was okay otherwise—a bit slow and nobody checked to see how our food was, which is a fair thing to expect at a sit down establishment. Overall, it seemed hospitality was a bit lacking and the staff wasn’t particularly concerned with creating a nice dining experience.
