Three of us went for a lunch catch up social, and had booked some 2 weeks in advance, and got the best table in the house, and note this is a very small bistro!
First great thing, the list of choices is so long, and you can go a la carte, or set-menu. We went for the latter, 3-course – which turned out to be the best choice!
I had the teriaki skewers for starter, it came really quick, and had this peanut sauce that was dreamy! My friend had a soup, and gave me a taste, it was so good! I may ask for soup next time!
My main was the low-risk green curry, which i asked very mild, and so it came! Absolutely Gorgeous green curry!!!
my friends were more adventurous, and had all the kick of strong Thai spices in theirs!
For dessert, I asked for this Thai Tea icecream, as my other friend had ordered Thai Tea as a drink, and it was a little like a milk shake, and she gave me a taste, so I decided to go for the icecream! Best decision! Thai Tea icecream is the best icecream I tasted! ^_^
This Bistro in Gloucester Road/South Kensington is a gem! Will definitely be coming back for more, and soon! 🙂
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I will definitely be back
The iced Thai lime tea was refreshing but what I enjoyed most is the Meekhun starter platter which included a great selection of tasty starters – fish cakes, chicken satay skewers, spring rolls and some deep fried vegetables which I love. Great place to stop by and enjoy good Thai food!
The only downside is the place doesn’t offer Iced Thai coffee even though it was listed on the menu – something I was looking forward to try.
Very disappointing! The Tom Kha came without prawns!
The taste of Pad Thai wasn’t right, the dish had some strange ingredients such a broccoli and green peas, almost no peanuts, no onion! The noodles were dry with a little souse. It was definitely not the Pad Thai…
I was very disappointed, such a waist of money!
