I have had great food here before, but thought I would try something new and ordered the chicken katsu. What I received was the most over cooked chicken I have even seen from a restaurant much less received from one. It’s hard to get good photos but it looked like if someone threw frozen chicken in an air fryer and then forgot about it and came back an hour later. Looks like something a high schooler attempting to make food for themselves for the first time in their life would have made and then probably thrown out.
I personally prefer slightly over done and dryer then most chicken, but this was something else
Pieces were literally black and it was hard and crunchy.
Also it came with zero sauce even though the menu specified it came with a katsu sauce.
I suspect at times it’s great, but the lack of quality control and the huge variation in quality of food received here makes me not want to return

It was terrible! We received half-cooked rice, the taste was terrible. The piece of salmon was small and dry. Very few vegetables. I left hungry, as did my husband, because we couldn’t finish the portion due to poorly cooked rice. The worst teriyaki restaurant in town! There are several much better restaurants around! My impression is that we just threw away $30. We will never go back and I can’t recommend this place!

LITTLE SISTER was eating her rice and broccoli and when she took a bite there was a metal staple in the rice !!! Yall need to start making sure your stuff is clean and safe before giving it to customers . That place was filthy

Food was pretty good, but it could have been cleaner inside. It was much better six months ago. Need to do a deep cleaning.
The staff acted like they couldn’t wait to finish their shift to get out the door.

I are there before and it was good. This time, absolutely the WORST Teriyaki garbage in Billings! I really don’t think it was real meat that they served us! The rice was chalky like over cooked minute rice that was sitting for a week. My wife ordered the same as i did but she wanted salmon. Pretty sure it wasn’t v real salmon meat either. Her dish was do small it was about 7 bites of food and she ordered more veggies than I did. Sat for about 30 minutes while people that ordered after us and we watched them get their food way before us. Garbage, Absolute Garbage for $30. Never will we go back.

100% do NOT care about customers at all. I stood in line for over 25 minutes waiting for my food while people came and went. When i finally asked abojt my food, they made it a point to slam my food trays around in front of me…. i.e. the girl behind the counter…Music is so loud you cannot hear anyone ask you anything about sides…. All for the chicken to be burnt and dry…. a bunch of added spices I didn’t ask for…. i hope management isnt ran by the same CHILDREN that work there….. waste of $25 bucks….. I would LOVE for a manager to reach out…

The food and service are quite literally above and beyond. I am sure the atmosphere is equally great BUT I didn’t try it by going. These guys sent a couple really good chicken bowls to our job site free of charge and unrequested. I will absolutely go check out the resteraunt sometime!

My daughter and I were excited to try this for our first time. We drove 20 minutes to get there. Walked in the door at about 5:45 pm Tuesday Oct 21st 2025. “We were greeted by a young girl that said I have a big order of 30 bowls so it’s going to be at least 30 minutes.” A little snotty. I wasn’t sure if she meant before she could make our food so I said, “ so if we order right now, we can come back in 30 minutes?” She said no it will be an hour. I’m thinking ok so it went from 30 minutes to an hour in 30 seconds. She had no interest in taking our order, she had no apologies and terrible customer service. Guess we won’t be trying it. If I was an owner I would want to know that my employee sends customers away to go eat somewhere else.
