I love that i can get a single slice of pizza and they have a “daily slice” that changes so you can try some of their specialty pizzas without investing in a full one. I love to get a slice (usually pepperoni) and a side Caesar. So nice to get this lunch or dinner for under $10. They aldo have a really good homemade ranch.
They also have a monthly special pizza. This month is the seafood boil. Definitely good but the game changer is getting some garlic butter to add or dip the pizza in. Cant wait to see what they come up with in the future.
They also have these great plastic cups you can take home. Definitely appreciate that and im using them as paint cups or outside cups that are reusable.
The exterior and interior are trendy, intimately lit, clean, and inviting. There are booths, tables, bar seating (fully stocked bar), as well as patio seating
While they specialize in pizza, they have so many other Italian delicacies like pasta, calzones, etc. They also have plenty of appetizers and desserts to choose from. The pizza menu has a couple award winning pizzas you will want to try (they are identified as such). You can also choose regular hand tossed, deep dish, thin crust, or Detroit style pizza (as a style)
We visited the second week they were open, and they were still getting in the swing of things, so, I won’t hold the wait time(s) and some service issues against them, because I visited a month later and it has very much improved. We did wait a while for our pizza, which was odd when we ordered the cracker thin style, but it was fairly busy
Some tips:
They have a loyalty program where you can earn rewards points for dining with them. They also offer the occasional deal through their app. We received a free eggnog (seasonal) calzone dessert through the app
The Sausage Lovers Chicago Cracker thin pizza was our favorite. The staff and ambiance were fine, but we will continue to come back because this pizza was legitimately one of the best pizzas we’ve had
Cheers!!
The calzone was honestly impressive — massive, golden, and nicely blistered on top with that perfect parmesan and herb crust. The cuts on top let you peek at the filling (looked like a mix of sausage, peppers, onions, and cheese), and it came with a solid side of marinara. Dough was thick but not doughy, good chew, and it held together well. Very satisfying portion for the price.
The buffalo wings were crispy, saucy, and had that classic tangy-heat combo going. They weren’t stingy with the sauce, and the flavor clung nicely without being gloopy. Solid execution — nothing fancy, just good bar-style wings.
Then there’s the pepperoni-topped Detroit-style (or deep-dish adjacent) pizza. This is where I have my one real complaint. The cheese pull was glorious, the edges were that perfect crispy-frico caramelized situation, and the sauce had nice flavor. But the pepperoni… it was sparse. Like, noticeably sparse. You can see in the photo there are some nice cups of pepperoni, but they’re spread out like they’re trying to social distance. For a style of pizza that’s supposed to be indulgent and over-the-top, I wanted more of those crispy, greasy little pepperoni coins covering the surface. A few extra handfuls would have taken it from “pretty good” to “can’t-stop-eating-it” territory.
My daughter and I are gluten free so we were a little nervous to order the gluten-free pizza. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was!
I ordered brussels sprouts salad, which is equally as delicious. My husband and son shared the cheese fries and a Chicago style pizza which they raved about.
I’m so thankful that we have this place here in Mansfield!
I also tried the Chicago First Timer Deep Dish and it lived up to the hype. Perfect crust, loaded with flavor, and one of the best deep-dish pies I’ve had outside Chicago.
If you’re in Mansfield and haven’t tried this place yet, stop reading this review and go. Highly recommend!
Our server was friendly and helpful. We did a jalapeno popper classic with thin crust, an Italian club calzone and a garden salad. The food did seem to take a bit. The pizza seemed a bit over cooked with a bonus hair that I got to taste. It was missing the Alfredo sauce and dry.
The salad was fresh and tasty.
All of our food was okay but was a bit underwhelming .
It took forever to get our check.
Although the food was good it’s not something I would highly recommend.
I can recommend that Mansfield send health inspector to investigate rougue hairs in the food.
The food was ok. The calzone had little filling and too much bread. The deep dish was the same.
Anytime service was needed, it also took some time for staff to get off of their phones to provide any service to their tables. There were only 4 other tables including ours. One server I saw was constantly on her feet doing her job (kudos to her), but the other 3 didn’t do a thing.
I don’t plan on coming back here.
