A great little spot to stop in for breakfast. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, and all of the items were freshly made. The chilaquiles verdes were so flavorful and deliciously spicy, and the huevos mexicanos (huevos al gusto) with fresh tortillas were hearty and flavorful as well. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was a great little mom and pop shop, and we were so grateful to have made this pitstop after stumbling upon recommendations from Reddit! A must visit.

I ordered a gordita de chicharron by phone by the time I got there they were barely making it. When I ask how much it was $13 . They are pricey and only accept cash.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Restaurant Famosos for years, and it’s simply the best! They specialize in truly authentic, home-style Mexican food.

It was way way to expensive!! The chicharron gordita price , was a rip off. $$$ I , won’t go back to that restaurant.

Went for the first time with my cousin. He recommended the tortas here. I was originally going to order a tinga torta but then heard the worker say Cuban torta. So I decided to try that out. At first it looked really good, but then after a couple of bites it started to taste really salty. I thought it was the grilled Mexican cheese so I took it out. Something that also through me off was that I ordered the torta and a large orange juiced and my total was $22. Definitely didn’t expect to pay more than $16. Caught me off guard. I heard the gorditas are good so I might give it another try.

Fantastic, Authentic Mexican restaurant where everything is made fresh in the moment.
My favorite dishes are Sopes And Gorditas. Love carne asada but I’d recommend trying then with Milanesa! 🙂

Very nice and kind staff.

The food was ok. They only take cash and be confident ordering in Spanish because they did not speak much English. They also don’t have chips which is not that big of a deal but it took me by surprise.

The bistec ranchera had absolutely no flavor, just cooked meat, no seasoning, nothing. The maey shake was pretty good though, but wouldn’t try again.

Love their food. But, the last most recent times we have gone was not impressed, maybe new staff? seemed like in hurry to get me out of there, my food was not done correctly and the meat on some of my item look like little bits of charcoal and we only got a little bit of meat in our burrito and tacos ., the gorditas had mostly veggies. I wonder what happened to the lady ? She is Super Awesome at cooking.
