We were greeted warmly upon entering by Eileen, who kindly accommodated our seating request and offered helpful insight into several dishes. We followed her recommendations and ordered the salmon with rice and the pork medallions. However, first we took a leap of faith and tried the crab cakes. They were the best in town: seared, not greasy, very tasty with a unique sauce and some greens. Highly recommend.
The salmon was prepared perfectly, featuring a sweet-and-spicy glaze that was delicious, though slightly on the spicy side. The pork medallions – sourced locally – were exceptionally tender—truly fork-tender, with no knife required. The mushroom sauce was well seasoned and very flavorful.
Pricing was reasonable, and the cocktails were quite good as well. The restroom was super clean, was well appointed, with lady things including hair spray. We wiil be returning to try the Prime Rib.

The hostess was so enthusiastic about the food and she was correct. We both ordered the Denver omelet and I ordered a lemon cranberry muffin. Best omelet I have ever eaten. It had lots of smoky bacon and cheese with crispy potatoes. There is a cute book cart for kids. Service was fast and friendly. I can’t wait to return for dinner. Great prices too!

This place is a hidden gem!
Their dedication to the food quality and taste is amazing!
I really enjoyed their flash fried spinach and their gumbo. Gumbo was perfectly spiced to be able to enjoy the seafood and sausage and get that southern hint of heat.
Atmosphere is OK. It’s a clean diner. But the food is way worth eating here!
PS: Keep in mind that the menu availability differ based on ‘Lunch Time’, ‘Dinner Time’ and ‘Fridays & Weekends’

This was our first trip to this establishment in our home town. We were definitely delighted to find a new spot for supper. Lots of homey comfort food options and I love that they have a seasonal menu. Our waitress was super polite and food came out quickly. We will be back to try it again. Tip: If you’ve never had it – try the flash fried spinach!

My husband and I went there on a Friday night. He had the pork medallions and I had the pork tenderloin. Both dishes equally good. Our server Syria was attentive without being annoying. She was actually very nice. We’ll have to go back and try something different. Price was as expected, and we thought it was reasonable for a good meal out.

Bought the bread and garlic butter appetizer- don’t bother. Minced garlic, warm butter and parsley paired up with sweet rolls. Both of us had pasta. A seasonal dish, Cajun sausage in a cream sauce. Given the option on how spicy, and medium was chose. Not too bad! Second was off their regular menu, again, past with Alfredo sauce, with pork and sausage. It was only so so.
The waitress was the star of the evening. I apologize, I don’t recall her name. But she rolled with every comment, she was very personal and she made it a point to take care of us well! (With there only being 2 tables, 3 guests total, I can’t help but wonder if she was bored. Lol)

Update: we had heard some good reviews so we went back to give them a second chance. We got the traditional breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes and English muffin. It wasn’t bad but bland. The English muffin tasted like chemicals and had a bad aftertaste. We wouldn’t eat them. We did tell the server, we hadn’t planned on her taking some off the meal nor did we ask but she did and that was nice. But something was definitely wrong. We want to live this place because it is close but we cannot like it after going twice.
Our first time at 160 Bistro in Nixa. Service was fine. Food looked good but lacked flavor. Potatoes were cold, we did get more that were hot. I think with a few changes and attention to detail they will be ok. Use more seasoning, herbs, hot plates and increase temperature in dining area.

I’ve had brunch here twice, but tonight we had dinner for the 1st time. My fiance had the lobster ravioli off their seasonal menu, my son had the calamari, and I had the pulled pork nachos. All 3 of us loved our meals and the cocktails were perfect! Our waitress, Eileen, was wonderful as well.

Edit: went here for dinner and it was delicious! The steak I had with the perfect paired bourbon glaze. The green beans were cooked so well. Come eat here!!
I eat here often due to working right down the road. This place is delicious! They make almost everything in house from their sauces to bakery items. They always have good specials to try. Everyone loves eating here!

I had a leisurely lunch with a friend. Lots of options on the menu from eggs Benedict to salads and sandwiches. I enjoyed classic Reuben with a side salad. My friend had the Bistro club. Portions were large and we both had plenty to take home.
