What a gem! Really great coffee that is roasted on site. Matcha and hot chocolate are also great. I love that they serve drinks with a Stroopwafel – such a nice touch. They have a variety of seating: regular tables, high top, couches, and outside. It’s perfect for any occasion, from working to meeting up with friends for a chat. Clean bathroom, free wifi, and even amenities for dogs – water bowl & toys! Nice service. Bivouac will certainly continue to be a regular stop for us in Evergreen!

If you’re looking for a short drive from Denver and amazing coffee, this is it.

Cortado was great, and had a great time hanging out!

They care a lot about good coffee and good coffee production. All of their beans are naturally processed without the exorbitant amount of water that a washed process uses. They care. I spent a few minute chatting with the barista and he was not only a skilled barista, but a great conversationalist and a knowledgeable coffee enthusiast.

I took home some Ethiopian beans and was not disappointed.

There is some seating for working, and a couple couches for conversing.

I ended up meeting the owners at Revit, downtown Denver last week and they were very nice people. Very friendly! I bought a bag of the whole bean “Bump Start” and wow, it smells amazing fresh ground and tastes incredible! I’ll swing my the shop next time we’re on a bike trip. Highly recommend the coffee it’s so good!

This spot has a cool vibe and serves excellent espresso and drip coffee, made with their own naturally processed, house-roasted beans. Nikki was super friendly—I accidentally ordered the wrong drink, and they fixed it for me without hesitation. Great coffee, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Bonus: Some drinks come with a Stroopwafel!

I ordered the cappuccino here and it was very delicious and even comes with a mini stroopwafel! I appreciated that the coffee is sourced from Ethiopia and that the actual way the roast the coffee is shown in the shop.

Best coffee shop we have come across in Colorado! Awesome vibe, but even better drip and latte coffee. They roast their beans I house which means it is full of flavor and passion. They even give you a mini stroopwaffle with your coffee. If you are coming down 70 you need to detour here for your coffee. We like the drip coffee so much we bought a bag of beans to bring home.

Riding motorcycles in the mountains when we encountered some rain. Google led us to this gem of a coffee shop, and my latte was spot on. A very cool place, I left a latte on the good karma board for someone to enjoy. This establishment is Slippery Pete Approved!

I was just in Evergreen for the first time visiting my cousin and wanted to try a local coffee shop. I love supporting local small businesses when I travel. I came across Bivouac and I’m so glad I did. It’s a great little spot! Friendly and welcoming staff. Easy parking. Comfort indoor and outdoor seating options. I had the most delicious maple spice lattes! Highly recommend a visit here whether you live near by or are just visiting!

8/12/24The maple spice latte was perfect! They have nice stickers and barista was great and welcoming, especially love that they don’t up charge for milk alternatives.

11/19/25Visited for the second time – consistently excellent. Maple spice latte was smooth, well-balanced, good shot of espresso, milk is frothed to perfection and always made with care.

I rode a motorcycle from Alaska to Utah in September last year, pointing my tires toward connection, trail riding, and some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Rene was up long before dawn, brewing the smoothest and finest of blends. While it’s a known fact that every cup of coffee shared across a sunrise and bonfire with fellow riders is the cup you’ll ever drink, Bivouac Coffee really is something to carry home with you. I bought my favorites and enjoyed excellent brew for the next two months as I made my way back toward home. Take the long way home, always. Pack light and treat yourself to this coffee.
