As I’m a big fan of Indian kitchen I could not avoid visiting this place, and as a result I was really impressed.

The taste of Tikka masala and garlic nan was so flavorful!

Apart from that the size of portions was really impressive.

I candefinitely recommend this place!

We stopped at the taste of Indian restaurant for a meal tonight, and the food was amazing, the food portion sizes are amazing there is plenty of food and it’s wonderful.
I have been to India three times and the food in this restaurant take me back to the food I have had there. Beautiful!
A definite recommendation if you are in Nerja and fancy a proper Indian curry

After 10 days in Spain, the restaurant menus starting getting repetitive. So, we thought we’d try some Indian food. Taste of India did not disappoint! Excellent food and fantastic service!

Fantastic food, very big portions and reasonably priced… Had a lovely evening. Booking is advised as it’s very popular..

UPDATE – went back 5 months later, had exactly the same things and they were equally delicious. Really friendly staff.

I would give this place 4.5 but it’s not available on this scoring system. It’s a great restaurant. Lovely service. Delicious food. On point pricing. Good location. Everything works…almost everything that is. The problem? The portions are just too big. It’s easy to keep eating because the food is soi tasty and well cooked. So, you end up feeling really stuffed! I was warned by a friend who had been before not to get a starter. Just as well! I’d much rather have smaller portions (including rice and a smaller naan) so I could try more dishes. Maybe that’s an odd complaint. This is a lovely restaurant, well worth going to. But maybe share dishes than have whole ones.

Went Saturday night without a reservation, not a problem we were found a table for 2 instantly. Food was good and reasonably priced. Would recommend making a reservation at your chosen restaurant in Nerja on Saturday night it gets very busy.

We were lucky to get a table without a reservation, as the restaurant is quite popular. The food was absolutely amazing — we tried the Chicken Methi, Paneer, and Paratha, and everything was bursting with flavor. You could really taste that the dishes were freshly prepared using quality ingredients.

This was easily one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in Spain. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nerja!

What a disappointment! We are not sure what the standard is of people who give this restaurant good reviews. It is an Indian snackbar quality at best. The butter chicken was red and way to sweet. The herbs were nowhere to be found in the starters. Waitress never asked if the food was good, “a sign on the wall” as we say in Dutch. If this is the best Indian food Nerja had to offer… decrease your expectations.

Fantastic meal here, one of the nicest curries I’ve had in a long time. Top marks too for the potato in the vindaloo, authentic, and not many bother anymore.

Overpriced Overpriced tourist trap. Avoid
Samosas were just big lumps of yesterday’s veg without taste. Other dishes were too spicy (and I can tolerate quite a bit), but missed the subtle flavours of real Indian cooking. My lamb saag was overcooked and the meat dry. The vegetarian were just chickpeas in too spicy and sauce. Portions were very small. I pay less in Ireland and get more food for that price, and that is saying something. Avoid this kip
