This is my favorite restaurant in my territory . The Ruben, the best I have had. The German Potato Salad is an A+. Then finally German Chocolate Cake. Delicious. I drove 15 miles out of the way to eat here again. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I definitely would.

When you first come in, you’ll think it dirty. It’s not. The building was built in 1812 and is one of those awesome places that’s kind of crooked but it’s right. Incredible plank floors. And pawpaw can cook!!

Was disappointed that they took the meatloaf off the specials and put it on regular making the price increase. Use to have it for 2 dollars less and then bill came out with tip more than 15 dollars higher then I have ever paid. Haven’t gone back

Cozy atmosphere and tasty food! Came on a Sunday when they offer their famous Fried Chicken dinner… lots of folks got that. I had the Chicken salad plate. Very tasty with fruity chicken salad on a plate of salad with strawberries, pineapple, and walnuts. Served with poppyseed dressing and a mini cinnamon muffin. A very enjoyable time!
