The music is definitely a vibe at this place played almost everything which I loved. One thing I notice that the plates and utensils could have been more cleaner. The drinks are good too definitely coming back here again cuz it was definitely a vibe! Love how security does they check keep it up!

Great Spot, been coming here since late 2023 and before it was Maraca but the new bartender Julissa needs to be retrained on how to treat patrons. She thinks because she has a nice body she gets to limit the times I drink when I am clearly sober. I wish they can replace her with someone with more class and hospitality.

Had a reservation but still waited an HOUR for a table that I reserved because of how poor the management was. If someone has a reservation why give their table away. Not only that but it’s summertime in NYC how do you not have A/C we were all sweating and waiting an hour how does that make sense. Not only that but being charged $40 to step back in when you just went to go assist your friend outside the establishment is wild to me. Music was great but poor service and no A/C is crazy.

This place has the BEST brunch on Sundays. The food was great. They have many options to choose from on their prefix menu. Love the bottle specials they have all day as well. Very comfortable seating. Servers are very friendly and attentive. All of the staff were also very caring. This place does get packed but definitely worth it. Would suggest making reservations early. Would visit again soon.

This place is overrated and overpriced. The A/c must have not been working everyone was sweating just walking in to be seated. This is not an ideal place for a birthday brunch the music is too damn loud not to mention the food took forever how you screw up on making salmon the easiest dish to make smh! The dj played the same 10 songs on a rotation that bing bong song played at least 3 times the first hour! The bottles were $600 for oneeeeee bottle I don’t care what social media artist or music artist have been there yall tripping with those prices and not to even have the ac bumping yall can keep that lol

I recently visited the establishment for one of their popular brunches. The music and ambiance was great. The service ehh … our waitress was so hard to find sometimes. Therefor there were times where we would have empty glasses on a bottomless brunch. Once the bill came over that was another issue. We paid 325 cash and 62 and change on a card … however the waitress tried to do the opposite to tip herself more. Luckily my friend received a notification text from her bank and we were able to correct the mistake then and there. After exactly 90 minutes they literally came over and pretty much threw us out (literally they took the table). It was so embarrassing given the fact that we were still waiting for our receipt. The waitress filled out her own service on the card machine. But the icing on the cake to all this is that the brunch was on a Sunday and it is now a Thursday and I’m still going back and forth with the hostess about getting my 100 deposit back. I posted our bill at the bottom and the chats of us going back and forth. I’m literally two texts away from disputing/reporting fraud to my bank lol. You can tell by the text that she is getting annoyed with me. But imagine how annoyed I am with them? It’s my $100 that should’ve been returned the night of. Needless to say I highly doubt I will be returning. The whole team is a hot mess and very unprofessional. Oh, the DJ was great!

Gave a 2 because the DJ was ok but Horrible service on 12/22/24 night & way to expensive for such lack of hospitality. When I walked in, there’s a cover charge of $80 for men & $60 for women. I was with 3 other people so that was $200 for the entrance; as the birthday girl, I didn’t get charged. Clubs downtown Manhattan don’t have such a high cover charge and when you have a reserved table, your party doesn’t pay the entrance fee because they understand that you’re spending inflated prices on bottles so why charge at the door. Not Maraca [El Jefe used to be WAY better on hospitality pre-pandemic & spending $2k+ was nothing because they made you feel like celebrity] For those prices you would think, you’re about to get an excellent superb service. & no. After getting past the entrance, there’s a $10 coat check fee and then the rude, nasty waitresses. China is the worse of all and should be fired. That place needs training on hospitality because they clearly have no clue what that is. When we walked in on that Saturday night, no one approached us to help us not direct us to a table. We had to literally walk up to the waitresses that were jus either sitting or standing around with long faces. Horrible! Almost made me feel like I was bothering them for asking to spend $1000 at their venue. China was very unreasonable. I ordered the $700 birthday package and they didn’t even bring out the birthday banner not sparking candles. The $700 package had listed 2 premium bottles and a champagne and I only got one Moet and one Don Julio Reposado. Yet I paid $745. I then proceeded to order another bottle because honestly I didn’t want to argue with China about her messing up the order since she was being unreasonable and with an attitude from the beginning. Plus it was already 1am and I had no idea where else to go at that time. Unfortunately this place was recommended by a family member that works there but this place is so ghetto and unprofessional. I am often at venues with professional service and I had never been charged so much. On top of ordering a second Don Julio Reposado for an extra $340, the waitress assigned to our table only served the first drink and never came back around to make sure that we were ok or if we needed anything. I had 4 people and they gave me a table for 2. & they added gratuity automatically as if their service is great; one of my guests m was the one making the drinks- she should have got the Tip . I spent $1, 325 and the only thing that was ok was the DJ. They need to fire those botched body waitresses with nasty attitudes and hire people with great welcoming smiles so people want to continue coming back to spend their money. Start by firing China who is running those girls and doenst know what she’s doing… clearly the reviews here speak for itself which is why I had to chime in. Only a few good reviews and most likely from the same employees and/or friends/family members of employees. Now I think I will try Opus Lounge since I keep hearing great things about them but Maraca will never see a penny out my wallet. Hospitality is basura!
