Vaskos has good meat sauce for plates and mac salad no question but the portion vs price is not making sense for a chicken tender considering these should not be called a chicken anything they were so flat and small and 3 of them. To give it a fair try I took a bite of the Tyson style nugget thing and it was no – quality, my dog didn’t even want them. I was very disappointed by this and the size of the plates in general. It’s convenient if you live in the area just don’t order the tenders bc they are not worth it and not edible and I’m not picky! I paid just under $5 for a half filled blue cheese, half filled hot sauce and the meat sauce cup was actually full at least. The side sauces are $1.50 each at least fill them up. The picture of the 3 tenders stacked is the size of one normal size tender anywhere else. Quality of them were so bad sorry to say but the mac and sauce were good

Vaskos was a disappointing first visit. There’s no parking, the place is very small, and it didn’t feel well kept. I ordered the chicken finger garbage plate—only three chicken “fingers,” and they were more like nugget-sized pieces. The fries were so soft they had a paste-like texture. The shaved steak sandwich wasn’t much better, with way more onions than steak. We ended up tossing the food halfway through the meal and won’t be back.

We love that there is a clean burger joint that you can hop of 490 in a nice area and grab a delicious big burger and shake. Sit inside or outside. The owners family are great.

I love Vasko’s. To me, they are equal with Dogtown on Monroe Ave. The only slight improvement that Vasko’s has is that they also serve pizza logs, whereas Dogtown does not. Great spot that we locals love!

I love this place. Only joint i go to for plates anymore. Steak plates, sirloin plates, waffle fries, the meat hot is bomb! Best plates in Rochester (probably the world). No joke this place is it! And they have ties to the OG plates.

The staff was so friendly. I ordered a plate which is home fries under a bed of cheese burgers and fixings of your choice. It was pretty good. My husband had a cheese burger and fries and said it was amazing. We also had 2 milk shakes and they were delicious. They sell cookies here too but the cookies were alittle expensive. $5 for one
But they were good. Overall worth it to go here. The painting on walls was really cool.

A beautiful restaurant run by a mom and daughter duo. Both are very welcoming. I was visiting that part of the town for the first time. I came through this restaurant on google maps with great reviews.
So I gave it a shot, and wasn’t disappointed. Chicken finger plate was great, and fries are at its perfection. Inside seating was interesting with those funky paintings on the wall. They have few outdoor seating too.

Vasko’s never disappoints! Everyone is friendly and very welcoming. It’s a walking distance from where I live and it’s convenient if you’re feeling a chicken finger plate or even a chocolate shake!!! VERY DELICIOUS

Back at it again at Vasko’s—because self-control is overrated. This place is basically our second home at this point. We walked in hungry and left in a food coma, no regrets.
Hubby went full comfort mode with the chicken finger plate—he was silent for most of the meal, which is how I know it was good. I got the Park’s Burger with fries and honestly? That burger deserves its own fan club. Juicy, cheesy, then add an onion ring… omw my gosh, it’s perfect. And then we shared a chocolate/vanilla shake, we made room for that! Even when they’re slammed with orders, the staff is still smiling and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can show up in sweats and still feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Vasko’s, you’re the reason my jeans are tight and my heart is full. Never change.
