Hubby had the club with fries and I had the Rachel (Reuben w/turkey) and tater tots. Both sandwiches were very tasty. I have never had a Rachel with cream cheese and I really liked the flavor. First time I’ve ever had a Long Beach Iced Tea and I will definitely order one of those again!

We were seated quickly, which was nice, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. Drinks were flat, service was very slow, and our server seemed more focused on chatting with staff than checking on customers. We’ve been coming here for years, but sadly the experience has gone downhill. The place really needs some TLC, and we’re in no hurry to return

My service was incredible. Drinks were always full, food was hot and she never missed a beat. My soup was delicious and the pot roast was good. Nice portions and great service. The best part is the kitchen is open late. I was able to eat on a Monday night at 9:30pm while traveling.

This was my first time here since it reopened. The best deep fried pickles I have ever had! They are stuffed with havarti cheese in a wonton. Wings and drummies are also amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Excellent service, good food. My husband loves the chicken wild rice soup. it’s always his go-to when we’re here. I typically choose a mushroom Swiss burger, but this time, I chose the grill chicken sandwich. It is a new favorite. Excellent flavor, I’ll order this again for sure! I chose a side salad rather than fries. I always appreciate a fresh salad that does not taste like it came from a plastic bag. The Village is a great choice when in the Outing area.

Village inn in Beautiful Outing Minnesota.. come for refreshing drink and stay for the awesome wonderful lunches and 5 star dinners … This gem in outing MN is like having the best restaurant in miles might just be the best foods in Minnesota.. night life picks up with live bands games to play in the pool room with plenty of stuffed wildlife mounted and locally cought . Dance the night away .. but don’t forget to tip the hard working staff who will make your visit enjoyable and wanting to come back for more .. come visit with friends or make new ones … You won’t be disappointed lots to do in the outing MN area..

Prime rib was well-seasoned and prepared – great texture and flavor. Walleye almondine was flakey, buttery, with a hint of lemon. You can tell everything is prepared homemade and the fresh vegggie sides were al dente and bright! Definitely coming back.

We’ve been there a few times and the last time there was a new waitress. We sat for about 10 minutes and a couple walked in and sat at the bar and the waitress came from the back and took their drink orders before us. Then we waited quite a while before she came back to take our order. We had to take our cup to the bar for refills. Had to go to the bar to get our check. There were 4 sets of customers besides us so not terribly
busy.
The other times we were there a southern waitress was so nice, friendly, on top of it! She was Ahhhhmazing! If we get the shoddy service next time we won’t go back.
The food is excellent! They have an awesome cook or cooks. Every time the food is on point!
