Was recommended this gem by a local! Wow, everyone at the table raved about the food they ordered. Delicious and fresh from sweet potatoes wedges, crisp side salad, marble rye bread patty melt, buffalo chicken sandwich, and crispy homemade chips. But wait, sa e room for their homemade ice cream a d dairy free sorbet. If you normally get it in a cup, skip it and get in a cone. These waffle cones completely change the game. Go and go often to try their seasonal ice creams.

bright space. easy vibes. zero stress.

ordered food, it hit
burgers were juicy, sandwiches felt fresh, nothing greasy or sloppy. then the ice cream came in and stole the whole damn show, small-batch, creamy, rich, and actually memorable.

great for a chill lunch, even better when you’re craving something sweet after. patio’s nice, service is smooth, and the place just works. one of those spots you don’t overthink, you just come back

This is a hidden gem that is an absolutely favorite beyond their amazing ice cream selections. Their burgers are some of the best in the area and everything is fresh, delicious and tasty.

I would recommend eating at the restaurant where the staff and service are great – but if you do takeout or delivery – you won’t be disappointed.

The Stubborn craft soda machine is a nice touch and family favorite. So if you’re in the area and want great food and some scoops – you must check it out.

If you are looking for a good ice cream place this is it. One of the best ice creams we have ever had. Good parking, staff was friendly, and the ice cream was fantastic.

Quaint family centered Cafe with classic ice cream flavors, including some topping options.

My friend and I split a Banana Split and a West Coaster burger, which we made into a double and added portobello mushrooms too (great choice!). We did have to ask for the cheese, which seemed to be missing, but overall, the flavors and textures were well made. Note, my picture (usually much better) does not do the burger justice, we just got eager to eat it and the banana split came out first so I forgot to take the picture before we split it and started eating it

The service staff is very young, so it seems like a great place to work as a first job. They were all friendly and helpful, even asked if I wanted to switch out any of the ice cream flavors, which I loved and thought was very thoughtful!

The regular fries (they have a sweet potato option), were fresh, soft and crispy, but could use a bit more seasoning. Even as just an option to top them offer myself. I’d suggest garlic, paprika and sea salt…but even other dipping sauces could give this cafe a sweeter edge. Still very enjoyable though.

Their soda machine is Subborn brand (not the ginger flavor, but the Pineapple Cream is sweet and soft, nice bubbles and was very cold, the small sample I sipped). The purple Lemonade we sampled was also good. Might be good as a mix. Maybe.

I didn’t notice any power outlets for work meetings or view the bathroom, so can’t comment on that.

The Banana Split was a nice change from my usual preference of a gelato in a cup or Waffle cone. In this case, ice cream, definitely NOT gelato, but still soft and creamy. My friend thought the flavors were less intense than we prefer and are used to, probably, because they offer toppings. They’re still good, just could use more vanilla beans in that flavor and more cocao to the chocolate, fresh Strawberry chucks would up level the kick to the fresh strawberry. We enjoyed it, just would like to see a bit stronger flavors. The banana was soft, fresh and went very well together. The whipped cream is definitely light and fluffy, probably from a can. Not likely made in house, at least not thick like you can make on your own with heavy whipping cream and honey. Not bad, just something that could elevate the overall quality…especially for a $12.95 dessert! Which considering there are 3 decent sized scoops and toppings compares well to ordering a double and single.

PROS
Customer Service
Decent quality
Higher quality soda and Lemonade
Ice Cream Cakes and other dessert options available (chocolate chip brownies, rice krispy treats, brownies, mud pie, etc.)
Fair serving sizes

Pros/Cons
Average prices, we paid about $32 for one double burger with fries and a banana split to share between us.

CONS
Atmosphere is okay, not bad, not spectacular
Flavors are great, but could be leveled up a touch
Not sure if there are outlets, not ideal for longer visits
Bit noisy from all the children (around 7:30pm on a Thursday night in March, 3.7.24)

Laid back (though often busy) ice cream parlor and cafe. We come back for the excellent, rotating flavors often, and the Taro and honey is a particular pldacorite of mine. Had the chance to try the pesto chicken sandwich with sweet potato wedges recently and it was a fantastic meal. Easily worth the drive from anywhere in Ventura county if you’re looking for dessert!

I went to your store to get my daughter her favorite ice cream to celebrate the birth of her baby at Los Robles Hospital. I asked the server, Gabby, if she could package it so it wouldn’t turn to soup. Gabby was very helpful and friendly and set up a large paper bag with an ice pack in it. Thanks to Gabby, my daughter and son-in-law enjoyed their treat and it hadn’t melted at all. Thank you Gabby; we’ll definitely be back!

Super busy when I went (Fri 3:30 pm)with LOTS of noisy children. Their payment system broke down, so we had to wait 15 min for that to work again. My main complaint is that what I ordered (their homemade potato chips) were ready immediately, which really meant they had been sitting there for a while. The chips were cold and greasy and lacked taste. I suspect their ice cream offerings are likely better than what I got, but I may not return to find out.
