Hey Bob. We met 25 years ago through my brother in law JJ. Just stopped by last night because I was in town for a funeral. Your bouncers at the door sitting behind a high top table were rude at best. I would mostly describe them as lazy and stupid. I’m absolutely sure the table encroaches and impedes a fire exit and would prevent them from acting on any kind of bouncer related duties. Also, they were wearing black latex gloves and asked to search my bag.
First, if I flip the table, I block the exit and trap the two dudes and the random girl sitting in the 4 feet by 6 feet box at your entrance. Pull the table, make one dude sit in a chair outside and one dude sit at the corner of the bar next to the entrance. You remove the obstruction and get double the visible coverage.
Next, if you’ve ever grabbed someone in box latex gloves, you know they rip almost immediately (there are different gloves that are more durable). Either tell them to buy the right gloves or don’t wear them. They aren’t preparing food so this is not an appropriate application for that PPE.
Continuing, asking to search my bag without asking me to take my jacket off makes no sense (20 years in the casino industry, trust me when I say most guns are not carried in bags). I don’t mind showing people my battery and toothpicks, it just didn’t make anything safer and seemed more intrusive than was necessary.
Finally, tell your people to be nice. Leaf was a giant mountain of a man (20 years ago bar tender) but he was just the nicest guy in the world. Find more people like him and less people like the jokers you have now.
There were literally 20 people in your bar last night between 10PM and midnight. Me and my friends represented 20% of your business and they made me feel unwelcome.

Very dirty place, not sanitary. The owner or bartender was extremely rude, women’s restrooms had cockroaches. Floor was filthy, unkept. Paper cups for your drink. Very rough crowd. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t been to the parrot’s lounge. Worst place I’ve ever seen

The burgers in the food truck outside are great. The bar owner inside though was so rude and gives off major ahole vibes. The bar is dilapidated and a major eye sore. No idea how this guy stayed in buisness not knowing how to treat customers or keep up a bar. Visit the food truck out back and avoid the bar inside by bringing your own drink.

Confiscated by friend’s ID because they thought it was fake, so we called the cops. Cops came and verified it was real, and after we get in they kicked us out anyways because the doormen were so embarrassed they were wrong.
Genuinely livid and never coming here again. It’s okay to make a mistake, but refusing to own up to it is nuts lol.
