The burger basket was a good eat and kid friendly. Their prices were reasonable and they had a good menu. The chicken strips stole the show! My kids devoured the fries which they don’t do often. The fried cauliflower was wonderful

It took a bit before we were helped. The young lady was very kind. The establishment was empty but had three customers for pick up while we were there. One person left that had stood for over 5 minutes waiting to be helped. Our food wasn’t anything special and quite bland. The fries weren’t overcooked to taste but were dark brown and appeared burnt. The bathroom was real gross. Walls are disgusting and all the floors were real dirty. A couple tables were dirty also. The sauces were mostly empty and the hot sauce was completely empty.
There was a doorway to another shop, unused but clearly a bait shop. It appeared to be used as a child’s playroom. I understand running a business with kids but dang, clean it.

The menu covers Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken, and much more.
Their pressured (broasted) chicken is second to none. Cooked and battered to perfection.
Same thing goes for their footlong. More line a two-foot long hot dog. Come with an empty stomach, leave satisfied and wanting more.
This will definitely be my go-to spot when I’m in the neighborhood.
Don’t drive by wondering if the place is any good. It is, and it’s worth the stop.

My fish was dry but completely mushy at the same time, fries were wayyyy over done and everything had no flavor. The tarter sauce tasted like an offbrand of ranch that was rlly sweet. Scenery was great but everything thing else terrible and VERY bland. Will never come back here again. The only good thing I had was the one thing they didn’t cook which was my dr.pepper. I didn’t even wanna THINK abt there ice cream after that food. I about threw it all up before even leaving.

Here’s a photo of my daughters meal. Very unhappy. The frys are mush, chicken strips are way over done and it looks depressing. Not only is her food nasty but mine was flavorless and my boyfriends was drenched in grease. We ended up throwing away our $55 meal and all I wanted to do was go out and get dinner for me and my family because of all the stress that we’ve been dealing. Never ever coming back.

If you’re traveling down 54, or need a good place to run to locally for a burger, this small business is a MUST! Food was FANTASTIC! Burger was two thumbs up, and another person in our party had the chicken sandwich, also highly recommended (breading was light and not greasy tasting). Menu has enough options for everyone. Indoor and outdoor seating options.

Burger Basket is worth every second of time you have to wait, everything is cooked fresh right after you order.
It’s an amazing place to just stop by if you’re taking a road trip or just need some good old comfort food. You get a lot of quality food for the price.

A friend and I stopped in this past week on the way to the Lake. He had been at the restaurant previously and enjoyed the burger. This time, he tried the Chicken Sandwich (based on a recommendation from another person in line) and I had the Pork Tenderloin. We also had the fries and shakes. We were lucky to have visited on the anniversary of being in business for one year and enjoyed a free dip of ice cream. Our food was very good and the service was excellent at the window. We took our order to go but I much prefer to dine on-site and will on our next visit.
