I’m very happy I found this gem when I was craving sushi.

I’ve tried the Eglinton (16 pcs) and Hamilton (18 pcs) Sushis, and I’m always left very full! The portions are generous and tasty.

I think I’ve been here at least 3 times now, but it won’t be my last.

Since I moved to Eglinton, I hadn’t found my go-to place, but I’m so glad I came across this gem!

I was truly impressed by their clean packaging, the freshness of the food, and the high-quality fish and ingredients. The subtle smoky flavor in some of the dishes gave the food an extra kick and made it even more delicious. Also, the roll sizes are noticeably bigger than most places, which makes the meal even more satisfying.

I highly recommend this place, and I can see myself coming back here often!

Was craving some simple rolls to supplement dinner. The service was super friendly and they even opened the door for me as my hands were full. Brought the rolls home and they’re delicious and a great size.

We book this restaurant by mistake, but it turned out pretty good result. We were looking for a seat down restaurant with full service, but when we arrived to notice it’s more like a take out restaurant actually connected with a corner store! They do have a few small tables and seem clean and neat. We end up seat down to have dinner there. The service was good. They offered hot tea, solid and soup, with the main dishes we ordered. We had a good time at this restaurant. The food is fresh with nice presentation. One of the best take out Japanese food in this area.

Such a lovely spot! We dined in for lunch and ordered the sashimi (9 pcs) and sushi (6 pcs) combo plus mix tempura. We were also surprised with the extra pieces of sashimi and tempura which was so kind of them. Minimal seating and the staff are so kind. This spot is located behind a convenience store and there is a discount for cash payment. Please visit if you can – I will be returning for sure!

Our fav sushi spot in whole Toronto. Like these guys don’t even have insta, but I see they’re pretty busy with Uber Eats orders.

Starting from food
– Sushi are amazing. Ingredients are fresh, chefs make them fast and they don’t press sushi rolls too much, so roll pieces feel very fluffy instead of a dumped lump of rice with a small piece of fish as in other places.
– They have sushi with cream cheese. Maybe it’s more European preference, but I absolutely love rolls with cream cheese, and here they are amazing.
– Black dragon gets my nomination for the best one
– Staff is very pleasant + complimentary green tea and miso soup are always a great thing ☺️
– The space is small and not the most sophisticated, but seems like it’s not designed to be this way anyway.

The food here is INCREDIBLE! The portions of the sushi will simply blow you away. Clearly this restaurant is mainly for take out but we chose to dine in as they have 3 small tables.
The food is fresh and comes out pretty fast which was great!
The server/ host must’ve been having a bad day as he wasn’t in the best of moods.
The overall look of the restaurant is a pretty cool mix of a traditional Japanese- mixed with some cool beach vibe- and it’s all snuggled up in the back of a variety store which was totally unexpected but pretty cool!

I would highly reccomend ordering out from here and eating the comfort of your own home.

Ok look, i’m really struggling with my urge to keep this place close to my chest as my favorite secret, but my desire to abolish gatekeeping is too strong.

This is some of the best sushi in Toronto. I’m serious. At this price point, I haven’t found something comparable in my YEARS of playing chicken with mercury poisoning by getting sushi at least twice a week, in 3 different countries.

There are four 2 person tables inside, the entrance is off the street, and its attached to a convenience store, and its the best gosh darn sushi I’ve been able to casually snag when I’m in the area.

Ps: get the chirashi lunch if you dont know what to order

Taking the term “hidden gem” literally. Located behind a convenience store, this neat little sushi shop inside of Toronto was a great find! The menu is small, but makes up for really delicious food. It should be noted that seating is quite limited. Spaces can fill up very quickly. A really great find and definitely a recommended spot!

Very good sushi, the nigiri salmon sushi was the best salmon I’ve ever had. Also had the gyoza, golden dragon sushi, and crispy spicy crab sushi. The gyoza was okay size, and a bit dry but it’s okay tasting. Golden dragon sushi was very good, thick pieces of avocado and lots of other ingredients-big pieces. Crispy crab sushi was good nothing too crazy would have liked a bit more crab stuffing but tasty. Overall very delicious would recommend definitely getting the KAME Deal with the salmon nigiri!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
