The Finn’s Bar & Grill was built in 1939 and had a few names throughout its journey to what it is now… In September of 2010, it was rebuilt to what it is now. My wife and I grew up in the area and went to school together. It was always our dream to own the Finns. We love Skanee and all the people and are humbled to have this opportunity!! We can’t wait to meet you all.

Great place in middle of no where lol.. Don’t be skeptical, it’s an awesome place to eat at! Burgers, fish, chicken and pizza. I try something different every time I’m in the area and it’s all be really good. The portions are worth the value. Great atmosphere, kid friendly also. Might get a little loud depending on what time of day you go.

Nice place, it was very busy but food was good. I just had a Finn burger . Finns is like a new log cabin inside, has a stonework thing for feet at the bar. Nice woodwork.

Stopped for take out and ordered the pretzel with beer cheese sauce and 2 burgers. Food was amazing, fresh ingredients, not over cooked and ready in 15min. Would highly recommend stopping and enjoying a great meal!

service here was so slow. there were only 5 tables of people eating and it still took an hour to get shimp and fries and a burger and fries. the shrimp were all you can eat and when i ordered the second round it took another half hour for those to come out. If you needed a refil on your drink you have to ask for it because no way was the waitress going to notice. The food was good and the place was nice inside but thats about all that was good from this visit.

Nice new place where there is no other place to go for several miles back towards Skanee. Food was good at a decent price. Full bar and nice choice of beer. Many fish and deer hung on the walls with a few other animals too.

Drove an hour to Finns to eat Friday night. Gor drinks, then waited an hour, the server literally wouldn’t take our order, asked her multiple times. Two other tables came in after and got served. Sure every restaurant is busy on a Friday night, but it was rude. Finally after over an hour of waiting, we went up to bar and paid for our drinks, and drove back home starving! Im a very good tipper, first time in my life I left zero tip. Poor service!

Checking out Slate River Falls and came across Finns by accident. Which was perfect because we were tired and hunger. The decor reminded me of some great Northern WI bars but with a U.P. feel. Had a burger, fries and wings. My burger was excellent fries were A+ the waitress even suggest that the homemade fries but they were out. The wings came out after the burgers but I was fine with that. Overall pleasantly surprised highly recommend Finns.
