Terrible. First time visitor. Met the owner because the adjacent bar refused to pay out a win less than $111. Pathetic. At the end of the day an excuse is just an excuse. After winning a measly $110 ticket I took ticket to bar and asked to be cashed out, instead I was told to come back the following day 16 hours later for my payout. I asked for the owner to be called, instead I was threatened by a brunette bartender who was low class extremely disrespectful, she told me I was banned from the establishment and that I could come back tomorrow. When I explained I was going to call the police if I wasn’t paid she responded holding the payout saying she was paying me from her own pocket and was gong to call the police. STAY AWAY FROM BOTH ADJACENT BARS. Tavern on 1st is where it happened owned by same owner. If an owner cannot provide a safe environment for its patrons and allows their employees to threaten guests and practice illegal activity and not even have the decency to make the employee apologize- then it doesn’t deserve any visitors or $ HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

I don’t drink, but I had the best ice-cold glass of water and chilled with some friends. Other people were playing games and enjoying the show place — great atmosphere. The bartenders were amazing. I stepped outside to smoke my cigarettes and chat for a bit. Overall, a really nice experience.

A great beachside bar with a nice, and mostly-locals vibe on a weeknight. The bartender made great tasting cocktails. A reasonable portion size, and at a reasonable under-$10 price per cocktail mostly. I will stop by here again, when in the area!

Had a staycation with my husband last weekend. We went in a Friday and Saturday. Had the same bartender. Didn’t get his name but he was great. He evaluated what we were looking for and made drinks to match. Great personality and remembered us the next day. I would go back just for him and his customized drinks. Nice place to relax and take in the beach even though we are 40 plus and didn’t feel out of our element. Want to go back as soon as we can. Wish we got our bartenders name as he was so great.

As a local, this is my favorite spot and quintessential Jax Beach. Low key, no frills, but great experience and cheaper drinks. They have a DJ on Sunday and many other days (see photo). Also have a TouchTunes if you like to pick your jams, but tell the bartender if you want to use it.
Add a pool table, ring toss, foosball, large jenga, cornhole, shuffleboard and my personal favorite -darts- you can’t go wrong.
Attached to Tavern (so you can easily check out both). The views and vibes are chefs kiss. #GetWrecked

Thanks to the 16 year old at the gate for stopping us for NOT Having an ID to enter a place that serves food. The Place was empty, a clear sign no one likes that place. We tried to give it a chance but ended up down the street and had food and didn’t have to show an ID to enter.
