The food was great. I had the shrimp pita; the pita bread was so filling, flavorful and fresh. The sauce on the shrimp, otherworldly. The fries were dashed with parsley and mozzarella and the employees had great energy. I’m from georgia and came down for business. And decided to get a bite and im glad i did.

The food is fresh, priced right, and did I mention you don’t have to wait! Not even a 1 minute drive on Dillard Road and you’re there. Free unlimited coffee is a perk! Don Leon’s is the place to go in town!

Went last night and sat outside with dogs. Everything was terrific (nice plaza with plenty of parking. Business Depot is here, too).
Seated right away, very friendly, brought water for the dogs–and me–right away. Very attentive. Felt right at home.
Ordered salmon with the veggies. Delicious. Perfect. The chef, Juan, came out to chat as well. Fantastic guy. And proud of his good food.
Will go back and try breakfast and lunch as well. Prices were very reasonable. Excellent value.

If you’re interested in great Greek foods, the friendliest customer service or a clean restaurant you’re in the right place! We ordered the Greek salad, gyro with fresh made tzatziki sauce and fried shrimp. We were very satisfied! Honest…one of the cleanest kitchens I’ve ever seen. The new owners are fabulous! I wish we lived closer so we could visit more!!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Don Leon’s on Saturday 2/7/26. I am a big ambiance and service person, and my wife is a foodie. We were both very impressed with the ownership, the food quality, the location (easy parking, only a minute off the main drag/downtown). This place and it’s grand reopening are going to be a hit. We will be back on our next visit to Highlands! And who can beat free coffee?!

Great find off the main drag (downtown) in Highland’s. The owners are lovely (married couple in their 80’s) and had a sandwich shop back in the day in Highlands. We got the burger and gyro sandwich. Burger was juicy and the gyro meat was tender and plentiful. Worth a stop for sure.

We are frequent visitors in Highlands and were so excited to see Juan again meet his sweet wife (the new owners)! You can’t ask for better service and the food is out of this world! Our favorites were the grown up grilled cheese and the fish and chips, but there is something on the menu for everyone! Great to have such a delicious and family-friendly option! We look forward to coming back!

We went to Don Leon’s for breakfast and it was delicious. Made to order home cooked breakfast at great prices! Juan is a gem and does such a fantastic job! Great to have a new restaurant in this beautiful city!
