But the worst part was that the food was really bad. I absolutely love salt, but even for me, the scallops were so over salted they were inedible. The ahi tacos, by contrast, had ZERO seasoning and the “creme” component was literally a swipe of raw wasabi paste on the taco shell. I love Japanese cuisine. This was awful, inedible. The kale salad was good but extremely overpriced. The fries were excellent, and maybe if I only went to the bar for a drink and snack it would have been an ok experience…but restaurant was disappointing to say the least..
Overall extremely disappointing for such a pricy meal. Will not go back.
If I could give more stars for the food and service, I would. The only issue was crowd noise, otherwise, an amazing dining experience. Highly recommend.
We were originally seated at a dirty table and asked to move, we were seated at a better table yet we noticed that they only reset the dirty table and never bothered cleaning it. Tragic.
The waiter was very nice and And got lost for what seemed to be forever, making it almost impossible to order another beverage or get a water glass refilled. The restaurant only had two other tables while we were there
I travel quite a bit so when I get a chance to spend time with my family, a great restaurant experience is not only nice but expected. We are willing to pay for quality but tragically at this place, all you do is pay and the food and Service is that of a diner at best!!!
They spent a lot of time making it look good, but there’s no substance behind it. They comped my lobster yet. My bill was over $100 for three people even with my entree comped.. The holiday decoration was very well done and the room looked really very beautiful, so tragic that they couldn’t spend more time on the food and the service, because At the end of the day, That’s really why you’re there.
Being from a neighboring town, we wanted this restaurant to be great, and unfortunately, it’s only been a disappointment every single try. I don’t recommend this place whatsoever.
We started with signature cocktails, which were average at best but priced like they were from NYC. The appetizers were the spicy meatballs and lobster stuffed shrimp. The meatballs were overcooked and dry, swimming in what tasted like canned sauce. As for the lobster stuffed shrimp, it seemed to lack any actual lobster in the stuffing.
Next, we had the Caesar Chiffinade salad, which the menu described as “heavy on the garlic,” but it truly overwhelmed the already lifeless romaine. The house-made brioche croutons looked and tasted like repurposed hot dog buns.
For entrees, my wife ordered the barrel cut filet mignon (medium), and I had the Delmonico rib eye (medium rare). Unfortunately, both steaks were served incorrectly, with my wife getting a medium rare filet and my ribeye being burnt on the outside and medium instead of medium rare. The prime frittes, which were supposed to be hand-cut fries, resembled frozen fries. The garlic roasted vegetables were mushy.
For a restaurant with “Prime” in its name, the quality of the meat was disappointing. The service was lackluster; our waitress was absent for much of our meal. I will say the bottle of wine we ordered was great, but that was the only highlight.
After redeeming a $200 gift card, we still ended up spending over $200 in cash—quite disappointing. I regret not checking reviews beforehand, and it’s shocking that management hasn’t responded to any feedback. Clearly, there’s a lack of oversight, which might be where the issues lie. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend dining here and won’t be returning.
