Not bad at all. Decent prices especially the specials. The staff seems friendly. Wish the fries was an option for the seafood platter special but all in all good Louisiana restaurant to grab some lunch if passing through thibadaux

Always our first stop when we return to Thibodaux, then one for the road when we leave. Clean, right on the bayou. Friendly staff that always makes you smile. Watch out, seafood gumbo has a little heat! Great specials for lunch & dinner. Mac& cheese like your grandma made with spaghetti noodles & baked. Excellent seafood, roast beef po boys, fried oysters, fresh boiled seafood. And don’t forget the Carrot soufflé !

Best gumbo ever! Whenever I am in this area, it’s a “must stop” for me. The menu is a classic Louisiana seafood restaurant with lots of fried shrimp, fish, and oysters. The daily lunch specials have never disappointed me in the 7 years I have been dining here. Stopped in the other day for lunch, and had a bowl of gumbo…WOW…it was spot on!

The gumbo was surely the very best that I’ve had at a restaurant; their has to be an old Cajun swamp expressway in the back because that gumbo was made with a legendary pot that we regular folks have no access to. Now as for the the carrot soufflé, this is tasty beyond the measure of an average palate. The texture is spot on and the flavor is sweet but subtle. Overall this place can and will get you back in the door at least twice.

Never ever disappointed ! This place has great lunch specials as well as super food anytime. The people are friendly and have wonderful personality!! We would eat here 3 times a week at least if we lived closer. And to top it all off the prices are reasonable. Just absolutely love it.

The gumbo was amazing and I should know, momma makes the best around town. Not too spicy and has lots of shrimp and flavor. Also they cripsy catfish was also delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

Gumbo is amazing. The other food was pretty good. Expensive for what ya get, especially considering how easily obtainable seafood is here. Not very accomadating. The owner definitely has a it’s my restaurant take it how you get it attitude.

The man taking our order was exceptionally rude. That alone should have clued us in to the fact that we should have just left then. The man taking the orders made my sister cry by implying she was fat. The food was over priced and some people in my small party wouldn’t even eat their food it was so bad. My little girl couldn’t eat the gumbo because there were SO many shells in it. We had to find her something else to eat. The stuffed shrimp was awful! I literally gaged and my husband spit his out. After spending $50+ per 2 people, we were disappointed that it was mostly inedible. The best things were the fried shrimp, but fry a shoe and it’d taste good. I couldn’t suggest NOT going here enough.
