Casual Pints has friendly staff and a chill atmosphere. It’s a great place to watch football and try some craft beer I normally wouldn’t be able to try. I didn’t have any of the bar bites, but I did have an ice cream sandwich and that was lovely.

Incredible service! While we were there, not only did they provide us with options when we were trying out beers, we also we blessed by their great hospitality when we spilled a drink. Not only did they help us clean it up, they got another new beer for us too! This will definitely be a go-to for us in the Chapel Hill area! Take time to come over, play a game or two, and get a good snack!

Really enjoyed my meal and drink. Staff was very friendly and helpful! I didn’t catch her name but one of the younger women working behind the bar was really pleasant and helped me decide what to order.

This place is awesome!! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Also the draft selection is incredible! The food was delicious – especially the chicken wings. I am not from North Carolina, so getting to watch my home team (Go Lions) was fun! Definitely recommending this place to anyone who visits!

Great spot to slip in to catch a game, pint, or snack. Large selection of beers with some options for the wine and cider fan.

Can’t recommend, I came here after traveling all day and was starving. the bartender/server was alright but the food came out very burnt. He could tell that it was burnt because he sat it down very quickly and walked away. I had the chicken pesto flatbread which was $16.00.
Not only was it burnt but it was very small for the price. I also had a beer and the total was a little over $25.00. I still tipped him well because I understand how the service industry works and after a tip I paid a little over $32.00. I was still hungry and ended up going somewhere else to eat afterwards. It was my first and last time here which is a bummer because I stay in a hotel up the road a couple of times a month and was looking for a new place to come visit when I’m in town for work.

I only partook in the beverage category, so I’m leaving the food review unselected. Hopefully, that doesn’t adversely impact the overall review. A draft house (I don’t think they brew their own) with a really good, varied selection. I think most could find something drinkable. You have to be looking for this place because I wouldn’t have found it out and about driving around. A few tables down and upstairs, in addition to out front on the patio. There is also some more comfortable sofa type seating upstairs as well. I saw a few food items being delivered to other tables and will definitely be trying what looked to be a brat on a pretzel roll with sauerkraut and mustard. It’s really one of the most appealing ones I’ve seen. Also, a cooler with a decent selection of beer to go,

Went to The Casual Pint near Whole Foods – Chapel Hill last night for the first time. We were greeted at the door by the friendly owner Bill. Such a nice man! We were lucky to snag a table on the first floor (it was 4pm but already getting busy). Because I had mentioned to Bill upon entering it was our first time there, he came over to our table after we sat down and explained their beer selection and that you order your food/drink at the bar and then it is brought to your table. We started with an appetizer of 3 soft pretzel sticks (they also have an enormous soft pretzel) and delicious house made beer cheese sauce. Bill told us the beer cheese changes on a regular basis as they make it with a different beer each week! It’s so good! Not thick and gloppy, but delicious, smooth and pourable. My mom ordered the German Brat on a pretzel bun (from Guglhupf Bakery) with mustard and sauerkraut, dad ordered the Hot Brat on a bed of sidewinder fries with bacon, jalapeño, sour cream and beer cheese sauce, and I got the “loaded” sidewinders sans brats but with lots of bacon, sour cream, jalapeños and beer cheese sauce. For dessert, we split the Black Out gourmet ice cream sandwich which was delicious! Their dessert menu offers about 10 different kinds of thick gourmet ice cream sandwiches. This place is clean, super friendly, casual, has a great beer selection, 4 basic wines on tap (2 whites, 2 reds) and delicious bar-style food. (Unfortunately no salads). My folks and I really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely make this one of our regular places to eat in Chapel Hill when we want fun food in a super friendly place.

If you like beer you’ll most likely enjoy this place. Friendly staff and lots of beer choices. For non beer folks there are lots of canned drinks in a cooler.
I’ve been here four times now and the staff is great but the food is totally underwhelming and not worth ordering.

Enjoyed our visit to the Casual Pint. I especially like that a significant amount of the beers are NC breweries and everything is organized by beer types.
