Their tacos are delicious! I’ll be returning again soon. I would highly recommend trying this place. They have a small eat in area or take out is available.

Hands down the best Mexican food in the area! Very authentic and very affordable, will definitely be coming here weekly from now on! There’s also a little grocery store attached which is super convenient and also has affordable snacks

As authentic and delicious as the best taqueria is California! 100% legit. Make sure to get horchata too! I’ve been here with others three times so far and each visit and each dish was exceptional. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I grew up in Texas surrounded by authentic Mexican cuisine and this is the first restaurant I’ve been to since my move to the North East in 2020 that is just as good and authentic as what I grew up with. Truly one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Delicious, reliable and authentic.

Service was prompt and food came out in a timely manner considering how busy they were. The prices were pretty high but the food was worth the cost. The food presentation was very clean as well! I ordered an asada taco, birria taco with cheese, chorizo gordita and a birria gordita. Everything was very very good. I’ll definitely make the drive from Watervliet to Halfmoon for their food. The only thing I think needs some work is the salsas need more salt but the spice level was really spicy, which I prefer. Very happy I found this place!

I haven’t had much of an issue with this restaurant. It’s close to my job and is usually quick and very good. I ordered for my family about a month ago and the food was good but the deserts that they have in the case were spoiled! A complete waste of money as I love about a half hour away from the restaurant. Today they were slower inside and I made my pickup order like I have done before and went back within the time they give me. Ended up standing there waiting another 15 minutes after I was told when I got there that they were just wrapping it up. Go back to work to eat my lunch and there was BARELY any meat inside the burrito. When I’m paying way more than their competitors in the area for what I got I expect it get what I paid for, which I’ve never had a problem with the food I get for lunch before. But today left a sour taste in my mouth and won’t be returning.

Spotted this tiny new, family-run Mexican place last night so we grabbed some takeout. It’s a small Mexican grocery with a few tables to sit down and eat. They’re still finishing the place so the menu is just on a whiteboard for now (see photo). The owner said they will have printed menus soon. Service was super friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty. The corn tortillas for our tacos were handmade and very nice! The salsa was nicely spicy, which I appreciated.
Food pictured includes tacos (birria, barbacoa, cachete), a fajita quesadilla, an asada torta, and a quart of menudo soup.

If you’re in Clifton, NY, and craving authentic Mexican food, there’s one place that stands out as a true gem, Mi Mexico Lindo. We just drove in from Tuxedo, NY and trust me when I say this is a spot worth driving two hours for—it’s that good! Homemade tortillas, sizzling meats, and vibrant flavors. It is exactly what you want from a taqueria. Part grocery and part restaurant, and the tacos here are nothing short of phenomenal. The tortillas are handmade! They are corn, soft, and perfectly warm, cradling generous portions of marinated meats that are packed with flavor. We had melt-in-your-mouth carnitas, the sweet and spice of pastor, and the swoon worthy asada grilled steak-every bite is a testament to the care and tradition that goes into the food here. It tastes like a labor of love!

In short, this is a must-visit. Whether you’re a local or someone willing to make the drive (or passing by on your way to Saratoga Springs or Lake George), make the effort to get here. I already see myself returning again and again.

TLDR: Eating here is at like eating in my Grandmother’s kitchen. Low prices, friendly people and a great selection.

Incredible food for such low prices. The restaurant alone is worth going and the market is a good place to find items you can’t access at traditional grocery stores, such as specialty seasonings and chiles. The people there are so helpful and are patient while I asked questions about which chiles to buy. I go here at least once per week for lunch and I would gladly go more if it was feasible.

The food was good, a little pricey for the amount you get. We ordered tortas and tacos. I have family in Mexico so I know authentic flavor. This place is not to bad on that. Would I come here often, probably not. Only because I want to leave full and not pay an arm and leg to get to that point.

There are several great Mexican restaurants in our area but Mi Mexico Lindo serves some of the best tacos I’ve ever had anywhere. It’s not a large or fancy place but those are not factors for me. It’s the food that matters and it’s there that they excel! I had a trio of tacos… Birria, lengua (cow tongue), and cachete (pork cheek). All were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!
