That’s just how we roll. At our Hot Bar, you’re the boss of the sauce. Add a hint of heat, a touch of sweet, or douse your dish with a five-alarm fire. Our Hot Bar is loaded with an assortment of tangy, smoky, sweet, and spicy sauces. Tijuana Flats’ entrées include burritos, burrito bowls, chimichangas, dos tacos, flautas, fresh salads, nachos, and quesadillas. Took my kids here and they really enjoyed it- the staff was kind and willing to split our queso into two containers for the kids to share and very helpful in answering any questions. This is the worst Tijuana flats I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to locations is multiple states. The employees were not friendly, welcoming, or even cared what my needs were. The chips were VERY stale and they gave me like 5 chips. Which is fine cause they weren’t edible. The dos tacos were a joke. The chicken was so dry and stale like
It had been baking in the sun all day. No sour cream like I’d asked for. The shell on the crunchy taco was stale. There was honestly nothing about this I enjoyed. I had to run to food lion to get sour cream to make this more palatable and even that didn’t help. I’ll find another place to get much better food.

Asked for double stack tacos and unfortunately the staff seemed kind of confused at what I was ordering. After asking for assistance they figured it out which was fine, it really did not bother me. But as a prior employee for 4 years at this exact location what did bother me was their ability to build a taco. I feel bad writing this because the staff was very nice but First off they lost my ticket, which was completely fine as they remade it swiftly. What is not fine is making my taco so quickly that it is not made how it’s supposed to. Double stack tacos are supposed to have queso spread “coast to coast” and the taco ingredients are not supposed to be spilling on top of the queso inside the shell. It is very simple. Queso on flour shell, put hard taco shell on, and then add ingredients. Management has changed frequently and I honestly pity the employees. There is an obvious lack of training. If there is not change this tijuana flats will hold the same fate as the Raleigh and Cary store.

I came here on a break from shopping across the street. It was a Tuesday, so they had a nice taco Tuesday deal going on for 7.99. I placed my order online from my car as I am very pregnant and was feeling like I needed food fast. I then went to wait until the designated time my food would be ready. I went in, waited in line, the lady told me where to pickup. I waited and waited and waited with no communication and nobody asking. Total avoidance. Finally the guy got close enough and I asked him about my order. He stayed that they were very busy and backed up, so my order wasn’t ready yet. I was now at 45 minutes past the order ready time and nearly an hour since I placed the order. The guy swiftly brings my order to me nearly 2 minutes after I was able to trap him and ask for it… and walks away. No drink, no salsa, no queso. I had to then go interrupt the line to get my drink and lime. Get out to my car to eat and the food was ice cold, including my churro fries which I was so looking forward to. So disappointed.

I was craving for tacos today. So my friends and I decided to try this spot out. The atmosphere of this restaurant is cool and interesting at night. My tacos was good but I was not a big fan of their queso. Their queso tasted different to me. I will be trying other items from the menu soon.

Their unique atmoshpere and original sauce bar puts Tijuana Flats into five star territory. The service at this restaurant is exceptional. I was approached by employees including the manager several times to fill my drink, clear my plate, and check on me. I never see that level of service in a quick serve restaurant of this caliber. The sauce bar is not only unique, but features some delicious and entertaining options. The food is affordable, simple, and tasty.
