Went to dinner last night with my boyfriend and a friend and was NOT impressed. Our server/ bartender/ owner was very short and distant. She took our drink and food orders, performed all necessary tasks, but made it feel like we were a hindrance. My friend went to ask for a knife and the employee simply pointed to a 6 pack container with plastic utensils in it on the bar. I realize nobody in my party drinks alcohol but when you are spending $25+ each on food and soda, I feel some polite interaction with us would of served them better than just catering to the Monday night regulars.

Rivers Edge Saloon went over and beyond for Eric Fout benefit! The owners put together so many outstanding musicians from Ladysmith, Ashland, Shell lake, Trego, Rice Lake and Hayward.

OK selection of taps. The apps were very good, see pics. This place has several games like pool and darts to keep you entertained if your fishing trip is rained out. Their kitchen was closed so we couldn’t try the daily specials. Wifi was fast.

Stopped in today and Desiree was a very nice and accommodating bartender. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was great. I used to go to Somewhere Else but after the rude bartender Danae I will never go back. Thumbs up to Rivers Edge and Desiree! I will be back!

Stopped in for a quick bite and a Bloody Mary, was not disappointed. I had a pizza burger and my wife had the chicken wings and the food was very good. The bartender was very nice and spent some time running down the menu with us. Very good Bloody Mary.

We went in for a drink and some lunch. Sat at the bar. No one even acknowledged us for at least duce minutes. When the bartender did ask us what we wanted, my wife asked for three different drinks and they had none. Then she made some snide remark. Didn’t even give my wife an alternative to what she asked for. We looked at each other and fit up and left. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Awesome saloon just outside town with an amazing view of the river. Would really be fun in the summer. The food was not ordinary bar food! All homemade cooking definitely recommend!

For starters, I know I’m a pretty high maintenance customer- but the friendly staff made me feel comfortable and accommodated my picky ass.
The owners personally introduced themselves and even bought my boyfriend and I a round and a shot!

Though it’s usually never my first choice (I live farther out of town) I do like this place. There is always something going on whether its a benefit, a band, bar league sports like darts, etc. and their food is SO good. The Aloha Wrap, Pickle Pizza, and their Parmesan Garlic Wings are seriously some of the best in Hayward. John and Stephanie are super great people.
