Food, drinks & boba were great, and the ambience was super cozy and welcoming. Customer service though was pretty much nonexistent. Ordering through the QR code was fine, but several items took a long time and needed multiple follow-ups. It was also really hard to get anyone’s attention and we had to literally get up and go to the counter to get help. Enjoyed the food and vibe, but the experience would’ve been much better with more attentive service.

This restaurant is described as a fusion of Vietnamese and Thai cuisines. It has a pleasant ambiance, highlighted by a floral wall that’s popular for photo ops. We ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Fried Rice, Mango Mojito, Whole Beef Bone Marrow with Toast, and Grilled Fatty Pork Shoulder. The presentation was impressive, and everything tasted delicious. Overall, it was a nice experience — we’d consider coming back to try more dishes from the menu.

Came for Saturday lunch and it was very crowded but we got seated right away. Ordering is all done through a QR code, which made ordering easy. We tried the vegan Thai tea, crispy eggplant strips, vegan basil beef rice, and vegan chili shrimp salad. The eggplant was the best dish we had! The basil beef was flavorful but a bit pricey, and the shrimp salad had good spice but the shrimp itself was bland. The Thai tea was sweet and refreshing, and was an amazing value.

The vibe is cozy and tropical with lots of greenery, energetic but not overwhelming. Parking is a bit of a headache since the lot fills up fast. Overall, I’d definitely come back and try more dishes!

Amazing Basil

Amazing Basil has a beautifully decorated, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The service was friendly, which made for a pleasant dining experience.

However, the food quality did not match the inviting ambiance. The egg rolls were crispy on the outside, but the vegetable filling was mushy and lacked freshness, making it difficult to enjoy. The Vietnamese rice noodles were overcooked, too soft, and broke apart easily, and the dish could have used more meat for better balance. The curry chicken rice had good flavor but felt unsatisfying due to its small portion size. We were still hungry for more.

Overall, the portions could be more generous to ensure a fulfilling meal. With such a beautiful setting, we would love to return, hoping the food improves to match the restaurant’s atmosphere.

The restaurant is located in a plaza, so parking was easy with plenty of spots available. The interior was really nice, with lots of floral designs that gave it a cozy, pretty vibe. We ordered a bunch of dishes, from appetizers to mains—pineapple fried rice with shrimp, homemade garlic bread, whole beef bone marrow with toast, fried squid legs, and lemongrass chicken noodles. The homemade garlic bread was way too hard, which was really disappointing—I was expecting something softer and fresh. The rest of the food was alright, but nothing amazing. The bone marrow had a weird smell too, and it wasn’t the toast—it seemed to be coming from the bone itself. It was my first time here, but I don’t think I’d come back.

I am definitely happy that I get to come experienced this beautiful Amazing Basil Restaurant!!! This place offers some of my favorite Vietnamese and Thai Flavors with some unique items on their simple menu. We ordered Beef Pad Thai, Basil Squid, Shrimp Papaya Salad, and Basil Steamed Clams. Our Drinks was absolutely Refreshing and I love the wonderful aroma that comes with it!!!
The best thing here for us was the beautiful, Pleasant, and Awesome Decorations inside this restaurant. Definitely Creative and Charming!!!
Next time I want to try the Duck Boat Noodle Soup or Vietnamese Spicy beef Noodle here.

Called to ask for a receipt from only a month ago, whoever answered did not really want to help. Whatever, I can still speak about the food.
The crab drip was very oily and pretty disgusting and the plate I got was also pretty bland and dry. Service was unfriendly, they did not seem like they cared.

This SEA-fusion (VN, SG, MY, TH) restaurant has a ton of selection available for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. They’re working with A Cup Of to also serve boba.

Arriving for weekend lunch, we had little wait for a party of 2. The interior is spacious and fragrant. Ended up ordering the sizzling Premium BBQ Combo (B10) which I thought could use more flavor, but it came with a variety of meat and veg (and pineapple slice) which were fresh and filling. My partner got the laksa (N8) and the portion was also large. Service/parking was fine and I’d return in the future to try out other items.

If you’re looking for a one-stop-shop for all Southeast Asian cravings in Fremont, this is probably a solid choice. The menu coverage is huge!

I found that the “industrial-proof” dishes (you know what I mean) are the way to go here, though. The Calamari was exactly what you’d expect — reliable and crispy. The Roti and Laksa also didn’t disappoint us. On the flip side, the Pad Thai felt a bit too “Americanized”.

Interesting note: the Chinese on the receipt suggests the management/staffs might be more Pan-Asian/Chinese-heritage rather than Thai/Vietnamese-specific, which explains why the “Fusion” dishes felt more natural than the “Traditional” ones. Stick to the “industrial-proof” appetizers here, and you’re golden.
