Super busy tonight right before the game! Overall, meets expectations. The chicken fajitas needed more seasoning, and the rice and bean portions were pitiful. Tortillas were perfect and piping hot. The burrito california was good but heavy on the sour cream.

Went here recently for the red wings/bluejackets game and the service was really solid- our waitress was friendly and brought us everything in a timely manner. The food was decently seasoned and okay at best the portions were a bit small for our liking. Overall not a bad experience here. Decent restaurant for a college town.

Love the margs here! They may be sugary but they are also not weak! Happy hour extends to 7pm which is really nice as sometimes I dont get off work until 6! Queso and chips are also very yummy! Staff is also very friendly.
The only critique I have is sometimes the service can be very slow. I think it depends on the server, because sometimes they are very on top of it and attentive and other times we have not seen our server for over an hour and have to physically track them down throughout the restaurant just to find them in the corner on their phone. I think sometimes the servers think they wont get a good tip from a younger group at a table, however, as a server myself, usually the younger people always tip 20%, as do we. Even after waiting an hour to get the bill and having to ask basically the entire staff where our server went, we all still tipped atleast 20%. Also you usually have to ask for chips and salsa, which are free, but you usually have to request them (just an fyi).

This is my favorite Mexican place in town. I always get the steak tacos because they are fatty. In addition, their Margarita makes you tipsy right away. So, careful!
The lunch specials are great. For 8 dols you get one of the following dishes (see pics attached). And, before your meal, there is homemade nachos.

We stopped in for a drink and an appetizer on the patio and enjoyed the visit. The space is fun with a great patio area. The guac and the queso were good, and our server was friendly and welcoming.

Service and food were both pretty bad. I ordered the beef taco salad with our waitress and a different waiter brought out nachos. I told him I ordered a taco salad and so he took it back and was going to bring the salad. Our original waitress walked back and I told her I was waiting for my taco salad. She came back again and asked what I ordered. The male waiter came back later with my salad and said he couldn’t find the waitress????? to ask but went ahead and remade it like that was a favor to me. The whole time the waitress was in the main area and we also watched her throw the nachos in the trash. I get my salad and it is sitting in a ton of water at the bottom of the plate. Never got chips and salsa for the table. Waitress brought a pitcher over for us to refill our own waters. Overall just super disappointing experience.

As we are fun of Mexican food we decided to eat here.
Food was good, avacado rolls were tasty, Veggie chimichanga was average, spicy margarita was a large drink and it was my favorite.
I will recommend the place and will visit again.

I went for an early dinner (5pm) on a Wednesday and had the place to myself. The food was quite tasty and the portions were very generous. I’m a big eater and even I couldn’t finish everything. Not for lack of trying, though. I particularly enjoyed one thing that most people find trivial in a Mexican restaurant: The rice. It had a delicate flavor, not too spicy or overpowering and it was nice to see lima beans in the mix along with the usual minced vegetables. Overall, it was a big hearty meal and I would definitely return.

Some of the best and fastest service I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time… just feel as if the virgin strawberry drink could be more strawberry and the green sauce has more flavor but food was a 10/10
