Went to Silos in Celina last night.

I tried the Long Shadow Riesling – Poet’s Leap wine and really liked it.

The roasted garlic cheese dip was very tasty, and the sourdough bread was crunchy and perfect.
French fries were good, and the ranch tasted fresh. The Ora King salmon was soft, cooked well, and tasted great. The chicken taco was okay — not amazing, but still good.

Overall, nice place with good food and wine.

We had a great experience overall, with just a couple of small things that could be improved…especially for a reservation-oriented restaurant.

Parking:
Very convenient. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were actually the first customers there.

Food:
The food was amazing. Everything had great flavor. I ordered the lemon pepper wings (got 5 instead of 6, but they tasted great so no biggie). My husband ordered the hummus and was very impressed. He also loved his burger. I had the fish and chips; delicious, but the plating could be adjusted. The portion would look better on a smaller plate with fewer fries so it doesn’t look disproportionate next to the two pieces of fish.

Drinks:
Loved both cocktails we tried the Cosmo and the Copacabana Margarita were amazing.

Service:
This is where the experience had a slow start. The host, Isabelle, wasn’t the friendliest, and for the first ten minutes we sat without anyone acknowledging us. Several staff members and even the manager walked by without eye contact, and we were the only guests there for about 30 minutes.

BUT once our server Daniel came over, everything changed. He was polite, attentive, and genuinely on top of everything. As the restaurant filled up, he handled multiple tables effortlessly and with a smile. He definitely made our experience great.

Michael, the owner, is also very personable and always makes sure guests are taken care of. He has even reached out personally when our reservations needed managing, which we appreciate.

We’ve been here a few times now and will definitely keep coming back—for the food, the drinks, and now especially the excellent service from Daniel.

The restaurant offers a very beautiful ambiance, both indoors and outdoors. The seating is spacious and well set up, making it comfortable for any occasion. They also have plenty of screens for game nights, which adds a fun and energetic vibe to the experience.

The food was better than average. We tried the garlic dip and potato pizza, and both were really good—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying.

One of the highlights of our visit was the service. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and the service was quick, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, it’s a great place to relax, enjoy good food, and watch a game with friends or family. We’ll definitely consider visiting again!

We visited The Silos and Celina and did not have a reservation. When we got there one of the owners, Michael, saw us and pull us in as we were walking off and found a great table for us and took really good care of us for the next hour and a half. The food was really really good, the atmosphere was very nice and we have gone back several times since then. I would encourage anyone looking for an above average dining experience in Celina, Texas to check out The Silos!

10/10 experience! The atmosphere was really cool and the service was absolutely amazing. Bailey was our server and was SO nice and helpful. She made us feel so welcomed. The food was awesome as well! We got the wedge salad which was super fresh, and the salmon croquettes which were like little salmon cakes. For mains I had the steak frites which were cooked perfectly, and my husband had the airline chicken which was also really nice. For dessert we had the creme brûlée, which was done perfectly. This was our first time dining here and we will definitely be back!

This place is an absolute gem!! The food, atmosphere, and service were second to none!! The owner is ever present and helps his staff members with customers. I had high expectations for the place and they were exceeded! Airy, roomy atmosphere and ambiance. Great menu and the whiskey cake for desert WOW!! Staff is always smiling and helpful. Best not so secret spot in north Texas and the absolute best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in 20 years! BRAVO Silos!

Review for The Silos in Celina, TX

I tried to visit The Silos last week, but it was completely sold out—a clear sign that Celina was more than ready for this spot! Today, I made reservations, and I’m glad I did. We were seated right away, giving us time to take in the restaurant’s impressive atmosphere.

The outdoor area is expansive, with plenty of seating and a beautifully designed rustic charm that fits right into Celina’s small-town-meets-modern vibe. One of the coolest features is the cigar bar, housed inside an actual silo, with an observation deck upstairs—perfect for taking in the view while enjoying a drink.

We started with the Wagyu meatballs, and they did not disappoint. The flavor was rich and well-balanced, with a perfect texture that made them a standout appetizer. For my meal, I went with the chop salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with great ingredients. The portion was generous, and it had just the right amount of dressing.

Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The service, combined with the ambiance, made for an excellent experience. I can definitely see The Silos becoming a go-to spot in Celina! If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation—it’s clearly a hot spot already.

My Husband and I had a date night this past Saturday. It was our first visit to the cigar lounge and it was best time ever. Top notch service, the atmosphere was relaxing and just beautiful inside out. Everyone was polite and the young gentleman that helped and served us was phenomenal. We are definitely going back. So happy to have this little jewel near our home ❤️
