Since the new owner took over, the quality of the fish has completely changed — in the best way. The sushi tastes incredibly fresh and premium, especially for the price. I honestly felt like I was having a high-end sushi experience without the high-end bill.
This is officially my go-to Japanese spot from now on.

This is a long overdue review for Sushi Yu. I don’t know why this restaurant doesn’t have 5* because it’s a 5*++ in my books! The fish is fresh, high quality, and generous and the service is warm and attentive. Maybe my usual go to place is in a pricier neighborhood, but I feel like the sushi and rolls at Sushi Yu are well priced compared to the quality you of fish you get. I am especially grateful we have this restaurant near us after feeling very unsatisfied by Kura Revolving Sushi. My kids love Kura for the toys, but if you’re used to paying Kura prices, then you’ll like this place better.

Came in to try our the sushi woth 30% off 3 to 5:30 and was not disappointed.
Our sever was very attentive and helpful her name yoyo and couldn’t have done better.
We had crunchy dragon and godzilla roll and both were delicious but imo the godzilla was just a tad better. The restaurant was clean and had a good environment so I have no complaints and I will recommend this place to friends and family and you as well.

I rarely hop on to review places nowadays, but let me tell y’all when i say the sushi here was delicious! Staff was incredibly kind and courteous, plus the place is well kept and clean.
My favorites were there riceless rolls, they were so good and beautiful too! Definitely recommend!

I used to genuinely love this place, which makes it even more disappointing to see how much it has gone downhill under new management. It’s very clear they don’t know what they’re doing. The portion sizes were noticeably larger with the previous owners, but ever since the change, the servings have shrunk—definitely not what I was hoping for as a returning customer.
The service was also pretty underwhelming. Nothing outright terrible, just very mediocre and lacking the care this place used to have. The food itself was okay at best, but not nearly good enough to make up for everything else.
Unfortunately, I don’t see myself coming back. Every time new ownership takes over, the quality seems to suffer, and this place is no exception.

Love this place. My husband and i have been coming here for years. We love their rolls and teriyaki bowls.
Today in particular, I ordered online and was kindly greeted by two young ladies. There was an error with my order and they were sweet enough to offer to remake it. As i waited, they served me water and were very attentive..i was very impressed with the customer service from these two girls. I hope their manager gives them praise for how amazing they are doing.

We were here for the 1st time. We ordered the lobster roll, baked salmon roll, rainbow roll, and a salmon bento box. Everything was fresh and delicious! The staffs are so friendly and fast pace. I would definitely recommend this place!

there’s a couple sushi places in this general area so sushi me has some serious competition. I do feel like it’s better than the other option on the same street in terms of quality – the fish was fresh and the food here didn’t give me a ‘bathroom moment’ which is pretty standard. service was nice although we did get this random order of the salmon 2 piece when we asked for the roll. I appreciated getting coupons in the mail because it makes the price just a little bit better. all in all, a fine place to eat.

Really love this place. Just discovered this place about 2 to 3 weeks ago and I’ve been here about 5x. They offer all you can eat and a la carte option which is great depending on how hungry you are. Nights and weekends are about $33 to $34 for all you can eat. Their a la carte has are 50% off selected rolls which is about $7 to $8 for 6 pieces. Nigiri are about $1 each with a minimum of 5 pieces. The sushi is fresh and delicious.
The reason why I knocked down one star is due to being overcharged. Pay close attention to your receipts prior to paying. Two out of the 5 times I was there, we were over charged on our beer. Both times were by the same guy. Skinny Asian guy with round glasses and blonde hair that’s growing out. The first time was our first visit and my husband got the all you can drink option for $15 and they charged us extra for a glass of beer. I mentioned it to the waiter and he was kind enough to take it off our bill. The other time was also with him and he charged us for 2 glasses of beer ($5 each) instead of 1 bottle ($4) and 1 glass. It wasn’t that big of a deal for us since it was only $1 difference so we didn’t bother saying anything and just gave $1 less on tip.

We wanted to try a new sushi place and decided to go to Sushi Me. This place has a sushi bar and a place to dine in. The food is yummy. Sushi is fresh. Although they need to work on their rice and rolling their sushi. The sushi we had fell apart but regardless it was tasty. Parking is limited, you have to find parking on the streets or parking structure and walk to the restaurant. It is a nice go to place for japanese food.
