What an awesome place we stumbled upon. We wanted something quieter for the night with good food and we sure found it! The service was great, the food was amazing. My husband said the mahi mahi nachos were his favorite thing he’d had so far on the island. Will return when we come to Maui again!

Small family run place in Kihei. We found this place as we were leaving to Kaanapali. The food was great, prices as well. We asked for substitutes and some grilled chili’s and we were told ” no problem”.

Excellent spot for a tasty bite at reasonable prices. They have a variety of gluten free and vegetarian selections. The wet (smothered burrito) was huge and really delicious, kids wished they ordered same burrito instead of the kids bean and cheese selection

This was the perfect spot for an impromptu takeout order for four people. Tony was so kind, provided recommendations for someone trying to decide between two options. We ended up getting 2 upcountry chicken burritos, 1 garlic shrimp burrito, and one steak fajita burrito. My garlic shrimp burrito was full of shrimp and full of flavor, ever single bite was delicious. The accompanying salsas were the perfect lift to the burritos and the chips. The red salsa was fresh and well seasoned with a mild to moderate amount of spice. The green salsa was fresh, bright, and also well seasoned with a mild heat. Everyone else said their burritos were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Prices were extremely reasonable especially with how much food was included. Tony offered us fountain drinks while we waited for our meals. Perfect experience for just finding something nearby and walkable!

Jawz is by far the friendliest restaurant in Maui with it’s caring and friendly staff. I ordered burritos, nachos, and tacos and they were all spectacularly made. I was amazed at the size of the burrito and they were accommodating with the adjustments I made to the burrito. The best part was their cheap prices and free water! Love supporting local businesses in Maui, especially if they are close to my condo! Huge thanks to the staff!

I am part of a flight crew who overnights in Maui. If you ever want to know a good hole in the wall, ask a Flight Attendant! A colleague friend told me about this gem and I have to say, it is a joy to be a patron of a family owned and operated business. Antonio and Emma were so kind and accommodating! The blackened Mahi Mahi tacos were awesome!

This restaurant says it is fresh, organic and locally sourced. I was interested in the shrimp tacos and asked what kind and where they were from. The cook said he gets them from some guy frozen but they are good. I should have cut my losses as soon as he said that but I went with it. The shrimp were just not ok. The area for eating was less than appetizing. Just not a good experience at all.
