First time ever stopping at this restaurant and let me say we were not disappointed one bit.

Hubby and I were searching for a restaurant that had Caldo de Res. This is one of the ones that popped up in the area. We said let’s try it..

Let me go back though, we were sat as soon as we arrived. The hostess was so nice. Our waitress was even nicer and so accommodating. Best service I’ve had in a while.

Hubby and I ordered the Caldo de Res. I also ordered a shredded beef hard taco. My brother ordered the 3 items combo which consisted of the most delicious beans, rice and 3 enchiladas.

The Caldo was hot, delicious and had alot of meat. The bowl of rice they brought to put in the caldo was alot. It is pricey but so worth it because its not a small plate and the caldo is very flavorful. The hard shell taco was also very good but the caldo supersedes that in flavor.

My brothers enchiladas were amazing. He got two shredded beef with red sauce and one chicken which comes with green sauce. He loved the chicken ones because the sauce had a hint of lemon which made it taste good. For me I tried his shredded beef ones and they were delicious. Also the enchiladas are pretty big. If you want enchiladas come hungry if you get 3. They do serve you alot off food.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back soon to try more deliciousness.

Oh and almost forgot we also got their in house made flan omg delicious. Definitely a must try.

Looking for a Mexican restaurant to avoid traffic coming back home, discovered this little gem. First time, ordered a wet burrito with carne asada, half red and half green sauce. Very delicious! Came back and had the combi platter with enchiladas, very good also. Both times this place got busy, definitely a place to check out if youre in the area.

The Huevos con Machaca is unbelievably tender and has so much flavor, you’d swear it had been simmering all night. We had a group of seven and our server Maria was attentive, friendly, and gave us great service! You definitely want to eat here if you’re in the area and looking for great authentic Mexican food!

So I’m new to the area and searched Google for a Mexican spot, I was in need of a really good burrito. I’m from LA, and so far, they only have good Mexican food. So I found this place to give it a try. And I’m big on service, cleanliness, food and the presentation. I was told that the Jamaica was homemade, so I tried it.. It wasn’t the best ( watery ), but it was tasty. The chicken shredded burrito was better than expected, the salad basic, the chips and salsa excellent, but that cheesecake was flavorful. I could taste the cream cheese, and to me, that’s the best part of a cheesecake ( to taste every ingredient ). Will I be back OF COURSE.. I’ll return to try the flautas, rice, and beans.

My husband and I really enjoy the food and service here. We come in weekly and always walk out satisfied! Chips and salsa greet you at the table as soon as you walk in. My husband enjoys the michelidas and my Corona is always ice cold!! The owner seems to recognize us from our frequent visits and makes sure to stop at our table to say hello. We look forward to see them grow here in Menifee!

Casa Jimenez is an absolute gem for Mexican food lovers! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with excellent service by Lourdes and Roger, who made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that every part of our dining experience was top-notch.

The margaritas here are a must-try—perfectly balanced and refreshing, they pair wonderfully with the vibrant flavors of the food. We started with the taquitos, which were made fresh to order. They were crispy, flavorful, and served piping hot—exactly what you’d hope for in a perfect appetizer.

The real star of the show, though, was the molcajete. It was nothing short of amazing! The shrimp wrapped in bacon was tender and bursting with flavor, while the cactus, salsa, queso fresco, and avocado added a delightful mix of textures and tastes. Every bite felt like a celebration of authentic Mexican cuisine.

Casa Jimenez is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for incredible food, fantastic drinks, and outstanding service highly recommend, it’s the go to Mexican restaurant in the area
