I recently dined at a Brazilian steakhouse and it was a fantastic experience! The meat selection was top-notch, especially the Picanha and Garlic Cap of Rump — absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly, providing a warm welcome and attentive service that made me feel valued. While the drinks and salad bar could do with more variety, the overall vibe and high-quality meats totally made up for it. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful place to eat, the food was divine, one of the best Brazilian grills I’ve been to, service was second to none. We had the dinner service so paid a bit more, but the selection of meat was delicious. Lovely salad selection, including canapés and huge prawns.

Amazing place to eat! Hands down the best meal and experience I’ve ever had. Food is delicious and there’s plenty of it. The salad bar is not your typical one , it has an incredible selection and the garlic mushrooms are to die for. Then they bring the meat to you at the table and it’s constant with lots to choose from. They have a little beer mat with yes or no essentially to flip when you don’t want anymore served or do. The cocktail list is extensive and all seemed delicious but I went for the french martini. Thank you again Rio for the wonderful experience and food!

We were seated by a lovely front of house man. We had been wanting to come here in ages. We were seated , drinks served and went to the salad bar. It really wasn’t too exciting, very little choice, although the chimmichuri and aoili were delicious . Then we waited. And waited. We were served a slither of steak. We were asked how we liked it, and we said medium. Every type of cut was raw. Between each slither of meat was a really long pause until the server returned with another slither. The pork belly was only fat. Not great cuts of meat at all.
There were only about 3 tables of diners, pretty empty for a large restaurant.
It was an experience we wanted to enjoy, but we really didnt . Needless to say , we won’t be back .

Outstanding food with outstanding service. Would highly recommend. We picked Rio’s for my birthday meal (something me and my wife don’t often do due to work and kids) and we couldn’t have ate more if we tried. If you have a special occasion and want a special venue, look no further.

One of the best Salad bars for this type of restaurant I have come across.
The meats were phenomenal, everything cooked to perfection and I especially loved the chicken hearts.
Price is comparable with other similar restaurants, but I think the offer here is way stronger.
Highly recommend.

I’ve heard about Rio over the last couple of years and finally got the chance to go for my birthday meal.
Everything people said about the place was true, the food was delicious, they serve the steaks exactly how you like them cooked, the meat was amazing.
I loved the fact we got to try everything on the menu, and it blew my mind that they remembered what we liked and how we liked it cooked (medium rare obviously).
The salad bar was fully stocked even at peak (about 7pm), the service was fast, the food servers were great and made a real fuss of us.
Honestly, despite being in a very busy restaurant it felt like we were vip’s and nothing was too much trouble, I uniquely individual experience that is hard to create so well done Rio team.
Top Tips: go to the salad bar, get your plates and then go back to your table. Let the meat come to you first, then get stuff to go with it.
Remember what you’ve tried if you have the Rio experience, then ask them to bring you the stuff you want.
Wear loose pants and don’t eat anything before going… you’ll get a conveyor belt of food coming at you and you should accept your delicious fate.
Overall a top experience, I’ll definitely be back for special occasions… 10/10!

Went to Rio Steakhouse on the Quayside today with the family and… yeah, that meal had absolutely no right being that seductive.
The meat was unreal. Juicy, tender, and cooked so perfectly it felt like it was flirting with me. Every slice was rich, hot, and full of flavour, the kind of thing that makes you pause for a second like you’re being respectful… when really you’re just trying not to melt in public.
And it just kept coming. Again and again. No messing about. Just confident, nonstop service bringing the goods like they knew exactly what they were doing. I was sat there trying to act normal in front of my family while my plate was getting treated better than I have in years.
The chips were dangerously naughty too. Crispy, golden, and way too easy to keep grabbing at even when you’re already full. Proper “I shouldn’t… but I will” energy.
Even the sides were spot on, and the whole vibe was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always there when you needed them, but never hovering. Just smooth, top service from start to finish.
But jokes aside… the food was genuinely incredible. The meat is probably the best I’ve had in a very long time, and everything we ate was spot on.
Me and my family will definitely be back again.
