Burrito Loco in Dallas, PA was a great overall experience. The drinks were crafted perfectly, with adorable attention to detail, and the food was outstanding and arrived in a timely manner.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, though occasionally a bit slow with smaller things like drink refills or bringing the bill. That said, it didn’t take away much from the experience.

The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and nicely decorated for the holidays. The seasonal décor added a warm touch, and the woodwork on the booths gave the space a nice, personalized feel.

Overall, a solid spot with great food and drinks. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try.

The salmon dish was delicious. The chocoflan, was ok. I’m just very picky and food reviewer so I have to be harsh here. The cake portion of the chocoflan was dry and crumbly. I would rate that a 2/5.

The salmon dish was a for sure 4/5. The sauce was a nice touch to the dish. But the asparagus was mushy and chewy.

Their Christmas special drink was very nice.

The food is good, and the Mexican dishes are flavorful with generous portions. When dining in, the experience is generally positive.

However, I strongly discourage ordering takeout. There is a recurring issue that has happened multiple times: the sauces are simply not included at all. Not one. Even when we call ahead and clearly request several salsas — including green salsa, which we really enjoy — they are routinely left out of the order.

This is not about asking for extra sauces. It’s about not receiving any in the first place. Today, when I went in person, no sauces had been placed in the order at all. I had to repeatedly ask just to receive what had already been requested. It becomes uncomfortable and frustrating to feel like you have to insist every single time.

We have actually been quite patient about this ongoing issue, but it has become so recurrent that today I finally expressed my frustration at the front desk. I don’t know whether this reflects management policy or simply the attitude of the staff at the counter, but something needs to change.

Unfortunately, situations like this ruin what should be an enjoyable dinner experience. We have been loyal customers, but after so many repeated problems, we are seriously considering other options in the area. I genuinely hope management reviews this and improves the takeout experience, because the food itself deserves better service.

Lively decor and exceedingly LOUD music. Might be fun if I have money to burn.

A gentleman with a wheeled cart asked if we wanted fresh-made guacamole. Of course, we said we did. It was delicious and it should have been for $15.99. The guacamole cost more than my flipping entrée!!!!! Just say, “No, thank you.” $15.99. Omigosh

The guacamole was served in a decorative vessel that resembled pumice lava….very attractive but entirely too porous creating a serious health/safety issue. I ended up grinding some of the vessel’s material in my teeth…..make the guacamole in a large wooden bowl and drop the price by half.

Meals were good, but really skimpy on the salads. The refried beans were probably the best I have had.

Fried ice cream was about 1/4 cup of vanilla ice cream rolled in crushed corn flakes…..very tiny portion for $5.95.

The meal for 2 people was nearly $60 without any beverages. The tip at payment had a 22% at the lowest tip option. VERY expensive.

If I can give it more than 5 stars I would!! My boyfriend and I dined in for the first time last night. Every worker there was super friendly! The atmosphere is amazing, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. The food and margaritas were also amazing!

Recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint. Excellent authentic Mexican food at a great price. I was pleasantly surprised by a wonderful Michelada Con Botana. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

You Need To Know? Restaurant reviews
You Need To Know? Arrived around 6:00 on a friday night & we were seated immediately. Waitress came over to take our drink order which we tried for some aqua-fresca & we were denied. Water it was. Next person asked for a Sangria & again we were denied. No Sangria? Water it was. Third person ordered a frozen Margherita & guess what happened, denied! Water for all 3 of us at this point. However we didn’t go there for the drinks, we went for the food. We ordered the cheeseburger burrito, burrito Bandera w/ chicken, & the massive 2 ft burrito. All burritos were absolutely delicious & filling. Presentation of our meals were fantastic. Food was so good we had to wash it down with a water…lol. Food is well worth the visit! Now You Know! -TBH

Burrito Loco is a Mexican restaurant tucked away off Highway 415 and has opportunities for indoor and outdoor seating.

We arrived on a Saturday between 6:30 and 6:45 and had our pick of indoor tables. Five minutes later, the inside was packed with patrons, with others moving outside.

I ordered the Molcajete Azteca, which was very good, but not as described on the menu. It had Cecina steak, chicken, Mexican sausage, various peppers, and fresh Mexican cheese bathed in red sauce; however, the dish was supposed to include cactus and shrimp, but we’re not present. This was a bit disappointing especially given the $35.95 price tag. Nevertheless, there were large slices of chicken and steak, and the meal exploded with flavors during every bite.

The La Gringa Chicken Tacos were also delicious, with onions, cilantro, guacamole in flour tortillas.

The servers were very pleasant, answering our menu questions with a smile, despite them being a bit overwhelmed by the sudden crowd.

Overall, the food was delicious and the service very friendly. If our visit was any indication, one may want to go for an early dinner if planning on dining out on a Saturday.

Sat down at about 7:30pm on a Thursday. Service was prompt and friendly. They recently got their liquor license so we got 2 margaritas and they were very very good. Decently priced for the size as well. Birria tacos were to die for.
