Such a great place. The staff were on point and the food was exceptional. We had the lobster pasta dish and it was awesome, full of lobster! The owner was on hand and stopped to say hello. The view over Lake Charlevoix is stunning. What a fun night we had.

Came in by boat from other side of the state. Wasn’t sure what to expect but this restaurant was dynamite. Decor, staff. Food…home run.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Pointe Fish and Grill! We sat on the outside deck overlooking the lake and marina—it was such a beautiful and peaceful setting. Our cocktails were mixed to perfection (a French martini and a Woodford Reserve old fashioned), and both of us ordered the beef tenderloin, which was absolutely delicious. Great food, great drinks, and a stunning view—highly recommend!

New favorite restaurant to boat to! We came in for the evening to the marina and thought we might be lucky to just get a drink at 30 minutes to close on a Sunday night. The staff was great at the bar and offered us a food menu as well. The scallops were awesome and no kidding the fries were some of the best I’ve ever ever had. They never rushed us despite offering to leave and even poured us a second glass of wine. The view was just lovely at sunset and we will certainly boat back for a full dinner sometime!

I’m not one to leave reviews but I had to in this case. My family was at Boyne Mountain the week and The Pointe had their Food Truck their and I’m telling you I had the best fish and Truffle Fries I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of both. The Fish was fresh and the batter was perfect. The tartar sauce and coleslaw were great. Most Truffle fries overdo the truffle oil but these were great!! We were at Boyne for 4 nights and the best meal we had the whole time was that fish n fries sitting outside by the fire while it was 10 degrees out. Great Job!!

Great spot with a beautiful view but the service was terrible! We had to wait for over 25 minutes to even place our drink order. We also had to remind our waitress about our food and so it came out cold. We ordered a burger to be cooked medium but it was on the rare side. This place definitely needs to hire more wait staff and have drink/food runners. It was also overpriced for the amount of food you got.

This place is a must if you are in the Boyne area. They were able to accommodate 13 of us with a reservation. We were able to sit outside and the weather was fantastic. The service was also spot on, and our food came in a timely fashion. We tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed all of it!

Every time I come here, I always have an excellent experience. My food always comes out looking great and tasting even better. I love sitting outside near the water especially during sunset. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an enjoyable culinary experience during the seasonal months. I can’t wait to make my next reservation!

Very nice place. Food was great and the service was top notch.
Update 9/5/22
Still 5 stars. Plenty of boat slips to park at if you come by water (website gives you slip numbers). Best baby back ribs around. Great atmosphere with a large deck looking out over the harbor.

Disappointing. Four of the six really enjoyed the dinner. The other two not so much. The dinner salad had rotten lettuce in it. Not just borderline, but rotten. The wedge salad had the most nondescript gorgonzola dressing imaginable. It was not even up to the level of a bland blue cheese dressing.
The roasted vegetable saffron Alfredo pasta was dismal. Only root vegetables, no saffron & the Alfredo was runny & watery — like soup. Inedible.
The peach cobbler was very good, though.
Perhaps they’re just getting going. The sign for the old place is still there, even. It has potential. Beautiful setting. But not as good as the previous place.
Gave this place another chance a few days ago. Not sure I’ll go back. Mediocre sums it up. Mediocre, and relatively expensive.
