I love going there when they do the chitterling run. I feel like y’all need to go down on your buffet price because y’all supposed to be a cheap place to eat soul food but I understand that the cost of food has gotten so high and you also have to pay your employees so I do understand I just wish it could be a bit cheaper your servers do a great job add something different to the menu getting tired of the same thing Love the pig feet on Fridays and the chitterlings on Fridays please don’t change that if you could put the chitlins back on the buffet instead of doing them $20 a pint and leave out the hog mog

This was my 2nd time at Occasions and I wasn’t disappointed. Brought some new people along and everyone enjoyed their food. Only down side were the greens (not fresh). The dessert options are top tier. I especially enjoyed the banana pudding and peach cobbler. Our server was amazing!!!

Food Brother was literally disgusting I mean, I know it’s called Occasions but I would barely have that On any occasion Service was horrible. The service was coughing. One person didn’t even want to pass out straws and forks to people and this was A funeral repass and they didn’t have not a piece of kindness in their heart. Food was late and when it came out, it looked not done. Banana pudding it look like it had been made three days ago.

I stopped here today for lunch. When we came in, they had the rugs in the middle of the floor rather than in the pathway and that made it a little difficult for me to make it in with my service animal. When we got into the restaurant, the lady told me she could not accommodate me with my horse because there were too many people in the restaurant. After explaining to her that if she deemed it unsafe, she would have to close the restaurant until it could be inspected by the state, she accused me of threatening her. I explained to her that that’s what the state laws are if she tells people they can’t come in because of there being too many people. After that, they decided to let me in. I had the buffet and the food was fairly good. The rice was a little cold, but the roast beef, meat and mac and cheese were pretty good. I was a bit surprised at the bill when I left. I did not get a drink and the total was still over $19. That is way too expensive for one person to eat a buffet. I will not return to this restaurant due to the attitude of some of the employees and the highway robbery cost of the meal.
