I am beyond frustrated with the service or lack thereof at this Dunkin’ location. I waited nearly 10 minutes in line as the only customer before even being acknowledged. When the cashier finally stepped up, they struggled significantly with English, making it nearly impossible to communicate a simple order. When I asked to speak with a manager, a staff member wearing glasses told me they wouldn’t be back until 12:00 PM. However, after speaking with a gentleman named Jeffery, I was informed that a manager is supposed to be on-site at all times.
It is incredibly bold to claim that “Elburn runs on Dunkin’” when the service is this disrespectful. I watched multiple people walk out without even ordering because the wait was so long, likely heading to the Starbucks nearby. This location needs a serious overhaul in management and basic customer service etiquette. Please do better.

I had a really disappointing experience at this Dunkin’. The management was unprofessional and seemed completely unorganized. There were communication issues, long wait times, and no sense of urgency, even though the store wasn’t that busy.
Orders were getting mixed up, and instead of taking responsibility, the manager acted frustrated and dismissive toward customers she had a tattoo on her arm. It made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable.
On the positive side, one of the employees with black hair was actually very friendly and tried his best to help fix the situation. He was polite, respectful, and seemed like the only one who genuinely cared about customer service. Make him the manager.
Overall, the experience felt chaotic and poorly managed. I hope they improve their leadership and training because right now, it’s not a place I’d recommend.

I had one of the most uncomfortable and disrespectful experiences I’ve ever had at this location. A woman working there with a tattoo on her arm made a completely inappropriate comment toward me during Black History Month. She asked me if I wanted a “chicken donut,” which felt like a racist and offensive remark.
There was no reason for that comment, and it made the entire interaction extremely uncomfortable. No customer should ever have to deal with stereotyping or being singled out like that. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable.
Businesses should train their staff on basic respect and cultural awareness. Comments like that are not jokes — they’re harmful. I expect much better from a place that serves the public.

I came here to just get an iced coffee with 2 pumps of caramel. There was a drink that had a ton of foam at the top, and before handing it to me, the girl was inspecting it, as if she knew it didn’t look right. She gave it to me anyways, and I kindly asked what the foam on the top was, just wanting to make sure it was actually my drink. And she goes “I don’t know want me to remake it?” Which sounds kind but she was definitely not pleased. She did remake it which was nice, but when she went to hand it to me, she practically threw it in my hand. Also just if the drink looks odd, let’s not give it to the customer in the first place?

I don’t usually review places, but going to a different Dunkin made me want to. Going to another one on my way to work made me realize how good this Dunkin is. They rarely get orders wrong and if they do it’s no problem to fix it. Very friendly staff. You always get your food/drinks fast. They actually can make a proper macchiato when it seems most Dunkin’s struggle and give me straight milk.

Havent been to DD in probably 10 years. Coffeemaker broke so decided to go to to your DD in Elburn IL. Ordered two black large coffees and two long johns. We’ll it must have been mystery day as I received two large coffees with extra sugar and 4 creams and two French twists. Well I am lactose intolerant so coffees went down the drain and the crullers in the garbage. A very simple order completely messed up so needless to say wont be back ever again. just wanted you to know as we live in a world where incompetence is rampid and companies don’t care. Good luck in Elburn you need it.

I can’t have caffeine so when I ask for decaf, I expext decaf. It isn’t fun finding out the hard way you had regular coffee.
Donuts, at least today, seemed very fresh and were awesome.
