My wife enjoyed her “build your own” hamburger with cheddar, bacon, and mushrooms. We started with the fried pickle chips. The breading was quite delicious and crunchy. We also enjoyed the fries and tater tots and already plan to try the “Fry Eagle Fry” loaded tots on our next visit.
The prices were reasonable and the service was attentive.
The restaurant also has many gluten free options, including burgers, sandwiches, chicken fingers, pork tenderloin, pizza, fries, and tots. The owner’s daughter has Celiac, and they set their protocols to keep her safe.
Tables ordering food so not terribly busy. It could have been the staff taking turns holding a patrons baby or the one staff member who seemed to be servicing all tables while the others held the baby.
We finally ordered our food and waited another 30 minutes to be told they were behind and it wasn’t even started yet. We were given drink tokens as a gesture, as if we would be back. My party of two left and went to Garcia’s where we were served our food and drinks in under 30 minutes with a whole restaurant full of people. Plan for at least a two hour experience for this local bar.
Fry Eagle Fry with Tots as the choice was hands down amazing. Tots had a slight crunch as they should. lt meshed well with everything it came with. YUM!
Boneless wings with HOT honey was amazing, wasn’t too spicy, but that sweet kick you might want the breading wasn’t too much.
Mad-sin burger
Amazing, Burger was a slightly over cooked for my taste, but in fairness I like my burgers still slightly mooing all and all paired with the jalpenos and onion ring was great..
Hide-a-burger also amazing, husband ordered it with a side of hot honey and drizzled that over absolutely superb with the burger and tenderloin.
Our server checked on us a few times, and the owners Josh and Katie came to check in on how things were as well.
A few fun facts, they offer several GF options as a possibility and I love that option!
The meat is supplied by Underwood’s very own Bertelsen Beef which we all absolutely love, if you are from around the area!
