I love homemade treats and appreciate artisanship, but unfortunately this won’t be in the rotation. The prices are high at $12 a pint, the service is mid at best (teens with attitudes), and the ice cream seems to have a lower fat content (it’s more icey than creamy), and it’s not even organic. Just feels pretty wild to go into a shop for 2 pints and spend $24+ on non-organic ice cream and then be asked to tip on top of that.

Nearby Daves hot chicken. We drove here to cool off the spicyness. I had the sundae 2 scoops with hot fudge with brookie & dulce de leche. The ice cream itself was great but i will not recommend the hot fudge if you are just planning to taste the ice cream. With the sundae the caramel literally melts and you barely taste the real ice cream. I would suggest going for waffle cone with 2 scoops.
Another good point here is they let you taste the ice cream before buying.

I’m not a chocolate or PB person. I usually stick with the berry or vanilla flavors. The strawberry honey was probably the best berry ice cream I’ve ever had in my life The waffle bowl was great also.

I’ve been going here for over 5 years since i moved to North Carolina. It’s a wonderful mainstay establishment. My daughter swears by their chocolate ice cream and believes it is the best. I would have given 5 stars except they changed the way they offer flavors recently. They used to always have freshly swapped flavors so if you went back the next week, you’d have your vanilla and chocolate but a whole new selection of unique concoctions of flavors from the previous week. Now, it seems they keep the same flavors and same unique concoctions for weeks at a time or maybe even seasons and then they swap out those unique flavors. This is disappointing.
Lastly, I believe they used to make the ice cream on site but they have had broken freezers for a long time now which does not seem like it will be resolved and you see them getting deliveries of ice cream from an off site location where it is made.

They made this gluten free girl’s Summer with the gluten free waffle cone! It holds its shape and lasts throughout the ice cream experience. The ice cream itself was amazing! My strawberries and honey ice cream had pockets of real honey and honeycomb, delicious! When we first arrived I was nervous because there was a long line but we were in and out quickly! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I’ll be back allllll Summer!

Stillwatter Location – 15 minutes before closing is when I visited this location, and the experience was incredibly disappointing….
I humbly asked the staff member at the counter for a recommendation on which flavors would pair well in a sundae. Instead of a helpful suggestion, I was met with pure arrogance. The staff member (a high school-aged girl) actually said, “I am so tired working here,” while rolling her eyes. She continued blabbering about how there were only 10 minutes left until closing and finished with, “I don’t have any feedback for you. Just pick any flavor you want.”
I looked around to see if there was an experienced duty manager or shop manager on-site, but the store was being run by two other kids who seemed just as disinterested.
Wish you all the best with this “great” customer service! I won’t be back…
