Mama D’s is family friendly restaurant with good quality food. The only downside it’s small. And does get a little crowded at times. Other than that, i have no complaints i am an early riser so I eat early in the morning, and that’s another thing i like because they open at 5:30am during the week, they also have good specials during the week

Cute little restaurant in Freedom. Don’t get to Freedom very often, but definitely coming back here! Good was awesome, service was excellent, never had to request a refill or anything. Boyfriend said the bacon cheeseburger was so good it should be the definition of a bacon cheeseburger! They also had locally made hot sauce (wasn’t hot enough, but was tasty for sure). Give this place a try!

This was our first and last time here. We ordered our food before 1pm. We know they close at 2pm. Took a long time for anyone to come and take our order because they were busy standing around, fanning each other with menus, and chatting amongst themselves or on their cell phones. There were only 4 other active tables in there at the time and 6 front of house people. I’m assuming it was the owner who took our order, and she was extremely rude and non-personable. I’m sorry, but I’ve been in this industry for 22 years and run a successful bar and grill. The way we were treated today was unacceptable. The hardest worker there was the young kid they had bussing and cleaning tables. One of the girls rolled up a floor mat and never washed her hands. I never saw anyone wash their hands. Gross! We were never asked if we needed anything. She gave us the bill before we got the quesadilla that I had asked to get to go when we originally placed our order. We asked if it was coming, and she forgot about it (as she’s leaning over the counter texting on her phone). We had to wait a half hour before we got the quesadilla. My sister goes to the bathroom and it’s slippery as heck with no wet floor sign. She almost fell. As we are waiting for the quesadilla, they are vacuuming and putting up all the chairs and it’s only 1:15…made us feel completely unwelcome. We would have been gone already if we had the food we ordered to go that she forgot about, and she didn’t ask if we needing anything, just put the bill on the table, no “here’s your check or thank you”. That would have been too much to ask. They never apologized for the wait and just made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by being at their business. While waiting, employees were also talking aloud about money and how much each person made for the day. We could tell you the name of each employee and how much each made that day because they were so loud about it as we were the furthest table away right by the door. Talk about tacky! We won’t disclose that info though. I get home and it’s a chicken quesadilla, and I ordered a cheese quesadilla. The salsa that came with it is very questionable looking as well. We will not be back. Start caring about your business and your people more. We chose this place because it was a small ma and pa business so we like to support places like that because of the 3 of us having over 50+ years in the service industry.

Food was so so , I always order my eggs over medium and they were hard all the way through. Country fried steak was good but make sure to ask for extra gravy as they barely put any on it . Waited a half hour for waitress and then quite a while to get check .

Meatloaf sandwich, Moma Ds roast beef and the cherry pie were excellent. Restaurant was clean and smelled delicious. Waitress was courteous and hard working.
