The Granola Bar

The Granola Bar in Rye never misses. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented from hearty breakfast options to solid lunch and dinner plates. You can tell quality ingredients are a priority, and everything tastes made with care.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for anything from a casual coffee to a sit-down meal, and the service is always friendly, attentive, and professional. It’s the kind of place you can bring family, meet friends, or grab a bite solo and always feel taken care of.

Reliable, welcoming, and delicious every time. Easily one of my go-to spots in Rye.

I had a great meal at The Granola Bar Rye. It took us a little while to get seated on a Saturday for lunch, but it didn’t take too long. The inside of the restaurant was really nice. The bathrooms were clean as well. The food: the hot honey chicken sandwich was so good! Especially for a place called “The Granola Bar”. The chicken could be a little more tender and juicy, but otherwise amazing. The breakfast burrito was tasty as well. I had a great time here.

The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review.

Atmosphere: Clean, bright, and well organized place. It is a pretty modern and comfortable restaurant.

Service: Acceptable-ish service. I called for pickup and had to repeat myself 3 times for one specific item. Surprisingly, the guy still got my order wrong for that specific item.
Apparently, the Mini Turkey Club and the Turkish Latte are way too similar in sound.

Food: I ordered the Power Bowl and got(accidentally) a small Turkish Latte. I would have mentioned their mistake to them, but I was just not in the mood to deal with people at that moment. Anyway, both the Power Bowl and latte were just OKAY to be honest.

Price: I have tried many healthy dishes with really good flavors. This was not the case for the Power Bowl. The flavors did not compensate its price. Perhaps other items on their menu are worth paying for.

I had been wondering about The Granola Bar for the longest. There was a space out front and it was a weekday morning so I checked it out. It’s a cozy space with beautiful decor, simple yet chic…cloth napkins. There are tables and a bar seating area. The bathroom is pretty. The service was polite, I wouldn’t say warm (or rude)… polite. I ordered the Dana, breakfast wrap with hash browns and a seltzer. It was tasty and filling, very healthy (which is what I wanted), There are some interesting items on the menu that I’m open to trying so I’ll probably give it another try… maybe takeout this time. Thank you.

We regularly visit this restaurant due to its impeccable food, service, and ambiance. The staff consistently exhibits a positive attitude, and the food is always delightful. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we consistently leave satisfied. It’s an ideal spot for family outings or gatherings with friends. The highlight was when they extended their hours, now offering the option to visit in the evening as well.

This piece of avocado toast was $18.50. I asked for the gluten free option for an extra dollar and it came as literally this one little piece of bread with avocado. It is not even toasted. It is just one piece of bread with avocado for over $18 on uber eats.

The iced coffee is very good. I like their ingredients. My office chooses to order here sometimes so I try getting things, but it keeps being extremely small portions for the cost. I have also had a yogurt before which is literally 3 tablespoons of yogurt for $18. It is just bizarre.

While some of the food is great, I’ve consistently found so many menu items to be such a rip off for take out. The large iced matcha latte is $8 on uber and it is all ice. When you remove the ice, its 1/3 full. For take out “bowls” come in little tiny cups. My $20 bowl of eggs whites with toppings came all crammed together in a little cup. I’ve gotten yogurts that are $10 for a little teeny tiny 1/4 cup. It is just a rip off.

Service is pretty hit or miss. Last time we were here they took a very long time to get out drink orders (it wasn’t terribly busy) then we didn’t get our drinks until over 60 minutes later when we reminded them after our food had been ordered and served already. The first couple of times we came it was excellent, but like I said it’s been hit or miss since.

The atmosphere of The Granola Bar has a very cute, trendy, and healthy vibe to it which also goes along with the vibes of the food on the menu. Overall the food was pretty good and the menu had a variety of different options. I got the warm brussels salad. I appreciate that the salad was so chopped up so I got a taste of each ingredient in every bite. Continually, the granola on the salad was a unique and unusual touch, however, it added crunch and an unexpected sweet flavor and constrasting texture to the soft chopped brussels and the tahini dressing. My iced oat milk latte was good and was what I needed, although, it was slightly bitter for my liking. Overall, it was a very good experience accompanied with great service.
